CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/hugetlb: fix list corruption in allocate_file_region_entries()
allocate_file_region_entries() tops up resv->region_cache with freshly
allocated file_region descriptors. The allocation uses GFP_KERNEL, so
resv->lock is dropped around it: the new entries are gathered on a
stack-local list head, allocated_regions, and spliced into
resv->region_cache once the lock is re-acquired.
The splice used list_splice(), which moves the entries but does not
re-initialize the source head, so allocated_regions is left pointing at an
entry that now lives on resv->region_cache. The top-up runs in a while
loop that re-checks the cache deficit after re-acquiring the lock. For a
shared mapping the resv_map is shared by every mapper of the hugetlbfs
inode, so a concurrent region_chg()/region_add()/region_del() on the same
resv_map can consume cache entries during the unlocked window and force a
second iteration. That iteration calls list_add() on the stale head and
corrupts the list; with CONFIG_DEBUG_LIST the __list_add_valid() check
trips:
list_add corruption. next->prev should be prev (ffffc900011ff7f8),
but was ffff88814c281460. (next=ffff88814c545640).

Without CONFIG_DEBUG_LIST the bad list_add() silently links a kernel-stack
address into resv->region_cache, leading to later use-after-free.
This was observed as a real host panic on a dense KVM host where a QEMU
guest-RAM hugetlbfs file was mapped MAP_SHARED by both QEMU and a separate
SPDK/DPDK vhost-user target, generating concurrent region_* traffic on one
shared resv_map.
Use list_splice_init() so the source head is re-initialized empty after
each splice, making the retry loop safe. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: reject overlapping data areas in SMB2 responses
Commit 53b7c271f06b ("smb: client: restrict implied bcc[0] exemption to
responses without data area") restricted the implied bcc[0] length
exception to responses without a data area. However, the overlap
handling in __smb2_calc_size() clears data_length, which can make an
invalid response appear to have no data area and so qualify for the
exception.
Track data area overlap separately and reject such responses before
applying the length compatibility exceptions. |
| Neo4j's Bolt modern handshake decoder treats an overlong capability bit mask the same way it treats a truncated bit mask. When an unauthenticated client sends a selected protocol version followed by 32 continuation bytes in the capability mask, the decoder resets the reader index and waits for more bytes instead of rejecting the protocol message and closing the channel.
Because the same unread bytes remain at the front of the decoder buffer, appending a terminating byte later does not recover the connection. The decoder re-reads the same first 32 continuation bytes, returns without producing a handshake-finalization message, and leaves the channel open.
This can be triggered before authentication by any client that can reach the Bolt connector. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/oa: Fix overflow in oa batch buffer
By default xe_bb_create_job() appends a MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END to batch
buffer, this is not a problem if batch buffer is only used once but
oa reuses the batch buffer for the same metric and at each call
it appends a MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END, printing the warning below and then
overflowing.
[ 381.072016] ------------[ cut here ]------------
[ 381.072019] xe 0000:00:02.0: [drm] Assertion `bb->len * 4 + bb_prefetch(q->gt) <= size` failed!

So here checking if batch buffer already have MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END if
not append it.

| axios versions >=1.13.0 (Node.js HTTP adapter) fail to enforce the configured maxBodyLength limit on streamed request bodies when requests are sent with httpVersion: 2. Because Node's HTTP/2 request API does not honor the maxBodyLength option and axios's byte-counting stream wrapper is gated on maxRedirects === 0, an attacker who controls a stream passed to axios can cause the application to transmit outbound data exceeding the configured finite maxBodyLength. Impact is limited to resource consumption and policy bypass (excess egress, upstream quota consumption, limited availability); it does not enable code execution, credential disclosure, or request-destination control. Calls using the default maxBodyLength: -1 and browser adapters are not affected. |
| FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains a buffer over-disclosure vulnerability in the gateway WebSocket transport (libfreerdp/core/gateway/websocket.c). The client's Pong reply reuses a fixed 1024-byte response stream whose length is not sealed to the actual received Ping payload, so a malicious gateway/WebSocket peer sending a non-empty Ping control frame causes the client to reply with an overlong Pong that discloses bytes beyond the received payload (the peer receives the masking key and can unmask the reply). A zero-length Ping reaches an assertion and terminates the client (denial of service). |

| Side-channel information leakage in Safe Browsing in Google Chrome on iOS prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Side-channel information leakage in ComputePressure in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Improper Handling of Length Parameter Inconsistency (CWE-130) vulnerability exists in TTSSH2 plugin of Tera Term provided by TeraTerm Project. When Tera Term attempts to establish an SSH connection to a server set up by an attacker, out-of-bounds read/write may occur. As a result, the contents of adjacent memory regions may be transmitted to the server, and Tera Term may behave unexpected or terminate abnormally. |
