| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: Put LLD module refcnt after SCSI device is released SCSI host release is triggered when SCSI device is freed. We have to make sure that the low-level device driver module won't be unloaded before SCSI host instance is released because shost->hostt is required in the release handler. Make sure to put LLD module refcnt after SCSI device is released. Fixes a kernel panic of 'BUG: unable to handle page fault for address' reported by Changhui and Yi. | ||||

| CVE-2021-47434 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xhci: Fix command ring pointer corruption while aborting a command The command ring pointer is located at [6:63] bits of the command ring control register (CRCR). All the control bits like command stop, abort are located at [0:3] bits. While aborting a command, we read the CRCR and set the abort bit and write to the CRCR. The read will always give command ring pointer as all zeros. So we essentially write only the control bits. Since we split the 64 bit write into two 32 bit writes, there is a possibility of xHC command ring stopped before the upper dword (all zeros) is written. If that happens, xHC updates the upper dword of its internal command ring pointer with all zeros. Next time, when the command ring is restarted, we see xHC memory access failures. Fix this issue by only writing to the lower dword of CRCR where all control bits are located. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47432 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/generic-radix-tree.c: Don't overflow in peek() When we started spreading new inode numbers throughout most of the 64 bit inode space, that triggered some corner case bugs, in particular some integer overflows related to the radix tree code. Oops. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47408 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-12-18 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: serialize hash resizes and cleanups Syzbot was able to trigger the following warning [1] No repro found by syzbot yet but I was able to trigger similar issue by having 2 scripts running in parallel, changing conntrack hash sizes, and: for j in `seq 1 1000` ; do unshare -n /bin/true >/dev/null ; done It would take more than 5 minutes for net_namespace structures to be cleaned up. This is because nf_ct_iterate_cleanup() has to restart everytime a resize happened. By adding a mutex, we can serialize hash resizes and cleanups and also make get_next_corpse() faster by skipping over empty buckets. Even without resizes in the picture, this patch considerably speeds up network namespace dismantles. | CVE-2021-47362 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/pm: Update intermediate power state for SI Update the current state as boot state during dpm initialization. During the subsequent initialization, set_power_state gets called to transition to the final power state. set_power_state refers to values from the current state and without current state populated, it could result in NULL pointer dereference. For ex: on platforms where PCI speed change is supported through ACPI ATCS method, the link speed of current state needs to be queried before deciding on changing to final power state's link speed. The logic to query ATCS-support was broken on certain platforms. The issue became visible when broken ATCS-support logic got fixed with commit f9b7f3703ff9 ("drm/amdgpu/acpi: make ATPX/ATCS structures global (v2)"). | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: atm: iphase: fix possible use-after-free in ia_module_exit() This module's remove path calls del_timer(). However, that function does not wait until the timer handler finishes. This means that the timer handler may still be running after the driver's remove function has finished, which would result in a use-after-free. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: Fix NULL pointer dereference in udf_symlink function In function udf_symlink, epos.bh is assigned with the value returned by udf_tgetblk. The function udf_tgetblk is defined in udf/misc.c and returns the value of sb_getblk function that could be NULL. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-core: explicitly clear ioctl input data As seen from a recent syzbot bug report, mistakes in the compat ioctl implementation can lead to uninitialized kernel stack data getting used as input for driver ioctl handlers. The reported bug is now fixed, but it's possible that other related bugs are still present or get added in the future. As the drivers need to check user input already, the possible impact is fairly low, but it might still cause an information leak. To be on the safe side, always clear the entire ioctl buffer before calling the conversion handler functions that are meant to initialize them. | ||||
