Missing authorization in Network in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-79141 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-08-28 4.3 Medium
Incorrect authorization in Browser in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-81721 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-28 7.5 High
openssl_encrypt before 1.4.9 fails to validate KDF cost parameters in encrypted file metadata and keystore headers, allowing attackers to trigger unbounded memory allocation. Attackers can craft malicious encrypted files declaring arbitrarily large Argon2, scrypt, or balloon KDF parameters to exhaust system memory and crash the process without authentication.
CVE-2026-81705 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-28 7.5 High
openssl-encrypt before 1.4.9 fails to redact the file password in its --debug argv dump when the password is supplied via bundled short-option spellings (e.g. -apHunter2) or abbreviated long-option spellings (e.g. --passw). The sanitizer only recognized exact option names, --option=value forms, and tokens starting with -p, so these spellings bypass the redaction chokepoint and the cleartext password is written to stderr. Anyone with access to that output (terminal scrollback, merged 2>&1 output, CI job logs, or the GUI's persistent debug log) can recover the password.
CVE-2026-81680 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-28 4 Medium
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to authenticate recovery-slot presence in envelope-format encrypted files, allowing attackers to remove recovery slots without re-encrypting the payload. Attackers can modify the file header to delete recovery-slot fields and bypass authentication, silently removing recovery paths the owner deliberately added.
CVE-2026-62385 1 Nltk 1 Nltk 2026-08-28 5.9 Medium
NLTK versions before 3.10.0 contain a path traversal vulnerability in FramenetCorpusReader and NKJPCorpusReader that allows attackers to parse XML files outside the corpus root by supplying unsafe selectors or poisoned index state. Attackers can exploit frame_by_name, doc, lu, and header methods with crafted parameters to read arbitrary XML files accessible to the application.
CVE-2026-70626 1 Nltk 1 Nltk 2026-08-28 6.2 Medium
NLTK versions before 3.9.4 contain a symlink escape vulnerability in CorpusReader.open() that allows local attackers to read arbitrary files outside the corpus root. The vulnerability exists because path validation is lexical and does not account for symlink resolution, enabling attackers to place symlinks inside the corpus root to access files outside the intended boundary.
CVE-2026-71514 1 Nltk 1 Nltk 2026-08-28 2.5 Low
NLTK 3.9.4 through 3.10.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in CrubadanCorpusReader. _load_lang_ngrams joins the corpus root with crubadan_code, the column-0 value read from the corpus table.txt mapping file, and opens the result with the builtin open() rather than the pathsec-validated opener, so os.path.join discards the root when that value is absolute and the read escapes the corpus directory without the containment check nltk.pathsec applies when ENFORCE is set. An attacker who controls a corpus package can disclose file contents outside the corpus root through lang_freq, limited to paths ending in -3grams.txt whose contents parse as token count lines.
CVE-2026-47875 2026-08-28 5.6 Medium
Applications that deserialize execution contexts with Jackson2ExecutionContextStringSerializer are vulnerable to a deserialization attack if they use an untrusted data source for the job repository. The JobParameterDeserializer does not properly enforce the trusted-types allowlist, allowing an attacker to craft malicious input that can lead to arbitrary code execution, including known Jackson RCE gadgets. Spring Batch 6.0.0 - 6.0.4 Spring Batch 5.2.0 - 5.2.6
CVE-2026-59270 1 Spring 1 Spring Security 2026-08-28 9.4 Critical
Spring Security's embedded UnboundID LDAP server (UnboundIdContainer) unconditionally registers an administrative credential and binds its listener to all available network interfaces. Spring Security 7.1.0 Spring Security 7.0.0 - 7.0.6 Spring Security 6.5.0 - 6.5.11 Spring Security 6.4.0 - 6.4.18 Spring Security 5.8.0 - 5.8.27 Spring Security 5.7.0 - 5.7.25
CVE-2026-47864 1 Spring 1 Spring Integration 2026-08-28 6.4 Medium
SerializingHttpMessageConverter deserializes the body of incoming HTTP requests with a raw java.io.ObjectInputStream and no class filtering. Any request with Content-Type application/x-java-serialized-object whose body resolves to a Serializable type is read directly via readObject(). If an application using this converter on an inbound HTTP endpoint has any known Java deserialization "gadget" on its classpath, a remote, unauthenticated attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution. Spring Integration 7.1.0 Spring Integration 7.0.0 - 7.0.5 Spring Integration 6.5.0 - 6.5.10 Spring Integration 6.4.0 - 6.4.12 Spring Integration 5.5.21 and earlier
