| CVE-2023-53848 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid5-cache: fix a deadlock in r5l_exit_log() Commit b13015af94cf ("md/raid5-cache: Clear conf->log after finishing work") introduce a new problem: // caller hold reconfig_mutex r5l_exit_log flush_work(&log->disable_writeback_work) r5c_disable_writeback_async wait_event /* * conf->log is not NULL, and mddev_trylock() * will fail, wait_event() can never pass. */ conf->log = NULL Fix this problem by setting 'config->log' to NULL before wake_up() as it used to be, so that wait_event() from r5c_disable_writeback_async() can exist. In the meantime, move forward md_unregister_thread() so that null-ptr-deref this commit fixed can still be fixed. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb-storage: alauda: Fix uninit-value in alauda_check_media() Syzbot got KMSAN to complain about access to an uninitialized value in the alauda subdriver of usb-storage: BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in alauda_transport+0x462/0x57f0 drivers/usb/storage/alauda.c:1137 CPU: 0 PID: 12279 Comm: usb-storage Not tainted 5.3.0-rc7+ #0 Hardware name: Google Google Compute Engine/Google Compute Engine, BIOS Google 01/01/2011 Call Trace: __dump_stack lib/dump_stack.c:77 [inline] dump_stack+0x191/0x1f0 lib/dump_stack.c:113 kmsan_report+0x13a/0x2b0 mm/kmsan/kmsan_report.c:108 __msan_warning+0x73/0xe0 mm/kmsan/kmsan_instr.c:250 alauda_check_media+0x344/0x3310 drivers/usb/storage/alauda.c:460 The problem is that alauda_check_media() doesn't verify that its USB transfer succeeded before trying to use the received data. What should happen if the transfer fails isn't entirely clear, but a reasonably conservative approach is to pretend that no media is present. A similar problem exists in a usb_stor_dbg() call in alauda_get_media_status(). In this case, when an error occurs the call is redundant, because usb_stor_ctrl_transfer() already will print a debugging message. Finally, unrelated to the uninitialized memory access, is the fact that alauda_check_media() performs DMA to a buffer on the stack. Fortunately usb-storage provides a general purpose DMA-able buffer for uses like this. We'll use it instead. | ||||
| CVE-2023-53845 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix infinite loop in nilfs_mdt_get_block() If the disk image that nilfs2 mounts is corrupted and a virtual block address obtained by block lookup for a metadata file is invalid, nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level() may return the same internal return code as -ENOENT, meaning the block does not exist in the metadata file. This duplication of return codes confuses nilfs_mdt_get_block(), causing it to read and create a metadata block indefinitely. In particular, if this happens to the inode metadata file, ifile, semaphore i_rwsem can be left held, causing task hangs in lock_mount. Fix this issue by making nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level() treat virtual block address translation failures with -ENOENT as metadata corruption instead of returning the error code. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: openvswitch: reject negative ifindex Recent changes in net-next (commit 759ab1edb56c ("net: store netdevs in an xarray")) refactored the handling of pre-assigned ifindexes and let syzbot surface a latent problem in ovs. ovs does not validate ifindex, making it possible to create netdev ports with negative ifindex values. It's easy to repro with YNL: $ ./cli.py --spec netlink/specs/ovs_datapath.yaml \ --do new \ --json '{"upcall-pid": 1, "name":"my-dp"}' $ ./cli.py --spec netlink/specs/ovs_vport.yaml \ --do new \ --json '{"upcall-pid": "00000001", "name": "some-port0", "dp-ifindex":3,"ifindex":4294901760,"type":2}' $ ip link show -65536: some-port0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/ether 7a:48:21:ad:0b:fb brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff ... | CVE-2025-15041 | 2 Wordpress, Wp Media | 2 Wordpress, Backwpup – Wordpress Backup & Restore Plugin | 2026-04-15 | 7.2 High |
| The BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the save_site_option() function in all versions up to, and including, 5.6.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site. | ||||

| CVE-2025-8452 | 2026-04-15 | 4.3 Medium | ||
| By using the "uscan" protocol provided by the eSCL specification, an attacker can discover the serial number of multi-function printers that implement the Brother-provided firmware. This serial number can, in turn, can be leveraged by the flaw described by CVE-2024-51978 to calculate the default administrator password. This flaw is similar to CVE-2024-51977, with the only difference being the protocol by which an attacker can use to learn the remote device's serial number. The eSCL/uscan vector is typically only exposed on the local network. Any discovery service that implements the eSCL specification can be used to exploit this vulnerability, and one such implementation is the runZero Explorer. Changing the default administrator password will render this vulnerability virtually worthless, since the calculated default administrator password would no longer be the correct password. | ||||
| CVE-2025-8489 | 2 Kingaddons, Wordpress | 2 King Addons For Elementor, Wordpress | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| The King Addons for Elementor – Free Elements, Widgets, Templates, and Features for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions 24.12.92 to 51.1.14 . This is due to the plugin not properly restricting the roles that users can register with. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register with administrator-level user accounts. | ||||
| CVE-2025-10348 | 1 Urve | 1 Urve | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| URVE Smart Office is vulnerable to Stored XSS in report problem functionality.
