| CVE-2021-4180 | 2 Openstack, Redhat | 2 Tripleo Heat Templates, Openstack | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
| An information exposure flaw in openstack-tripleo-heat-templates allows an external user to discover the internal IP or hostname. An attacker could exploit this by checking the www_authenticate_uri parameter (which is visible to all end users) in configuration files. This would give sensitive information which may aid in additional system exploitation. This flaw affects openstack-tripleo-heat-templates versions prior to 11.6.1. | ||||

| The affected products contain vulnerable firmware, which could allow an attacker to sniff the traffic and decrypt login credential details. This could give an attacker admin rights through the HTTP web server. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4160 | 4 Debian, Openssl, Oracle and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Openssl, Enterprise Manager Ops Center and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
| There is a carry propagation bug in the MIPS32 and MIPS64 squaring procedure. Many EC algorithms are affected, including some of the TLS 1.3 default curves. Impact was not analyzed in detail, because the pre-requisites for attack are considered unlikely and include reusing private keys. Analysis suggests that attacks against RSA and DSA as a result of this defect would be very difficult to perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH are considered just feasible (although very difficult) because most of the work necessary to deduce information about a private key may be performed offline. The amount of resources required for such an attack would be significant. However, for an attack on TLS to be meaningful, the server would have to share the DH private key among multiple clients, which is no longer an option since CVE-2016-0701. This issue affects OpenSSL versions 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 3.0.0. It was addressed in the releases of 1.1.1m and 3.0.1 on the 15th of December 2021. For the 1.0.2 release it is addressed in git commit 6fc1aaaf3 that is available to premium support customers only. It will be made available in 1.0.2zc when it is released. The issue only affects OpenSSL on MIPS platforms. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.1 (Affected 3.0.0). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1m (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1l). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zc-dev (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2zb). | ||||
| CVE-2021-4159 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 4.4 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's EBPF verifier when handling internal data structures. Internal memory locations could be returned to userspace. A local attacker with the permissions to insert eBPF code to the kernel can use this to leak internal kernel memory details defeating some of the exploit mitigations in place for the kernel. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4158 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 2 Qemu, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 6.0 Medium |
| A NULL pointer dereference issue was found in the ACPI code of QEMU. A malicious, privileged user within the guest could use this flaw to crash the QEMU process on the host, resulting in a denial of service condition. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4157 | 5 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 2 more | 18 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 15 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.0 High |
| An out of memory bounds write flaw (1 or 2 bytes of memory) in the Linux kernel NFS subsystem was found in the way users use mirroring (replication of files with NFS). A user, having access to the NFS mount, could potentially use this flaw to crash the system or escalate privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4155 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 9 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| A data leak flaw was found in the way XFS_IOC_ALLOCSP IOCTL in the XFS filesystem allowed for size increase of files with unaligned size. A local attacker could use this flaw to leak data on the XFS filesystem otherwise not accessible to them. | ||||
