CVSS v3.1 |
Emlog is an open source website building system. In 2.6.26 and earlier, missing CSRF protection on the AI Assistant execute_tool action in admin/ai.php lets a remote unauthenticated attacker submit a forged cross-site request from an attacker-controlled page to a recently logged-in administrator. The authentication cookie set in include/lib/loginauth.php has no explicit SameSite attribute, enabling Chrome's temporary Lax+POST grace window. The query_database case passes attacker-controlled sql and confirm_code values to Ai::queryDatabase in include/service/ai.php; read queries need no confirmation, write queries accept the public confirm string, only the blog table is write-protected, and aliasing password as pwd_hash bypasses output redaction. A successful request can read every database table and write every table except blog, including changing the user table to take over an administrator account. No fixed version is available as of this review.
An issue was identified in which CSRF tokens were generated using a predictable method, potentially reducing their effectiveness as a security control. This has been addressed by improving the randomness and entropy of token generation.
In an UEFI, Lack of verified boot to certain FV may cause arbitrary code execution.
Dell PowerProtect Data Manager, versions prior to 20.2.0.0, contain(s) a Generation of Incorrect Security Tokens vulnerability in the IAM. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 19.1 before 19.1.3 and 19.2 before 19.2.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to bypass administrator-configured tool governance policies due to improper authorization enforcement during token generation.
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. In versions from 2.0.0 prior to 2.16.0 and from 3.0.0.Beta1 prior to 3.0.11, ThreadSafeCookieStore stored a cookie under the value of its Domain attribute without verifying that the responding host is allowed to set a cookie for that domain, leading to a cookie tossing / cookie injection issue. A host the client connects to can therefore plant a cookie scoped to an unrelated domain, and the client will then send that cookie on later requests to that domain. Applications that use a single AsyncHttpClient instance - and thus the default, shared CookieStore - to reach both an attacker-influenced host and a trusted host are impacted. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.16.0 and 3.0.11.
Pterodactyl is a free, open-source game server management panel. Prior to Panel version 1.12.3 and Wings version 1.12.2, the Wings /upload/file endpoint accepted any valid panel-signed JWT that contained server_uuid, user_uuid, and unique_id claims without checking the token's intended purpose; because the Panel issues JWTs carrying those same claims for lower-privilege operations such as WebSocket authentication and file-download links, an authenticated subuser could reuse one of those tokens (for example a WebSocket token obtained with only the websocket.connect permission) by replaying it against /upload/file to write arbitrary files to the same server, despite never being granted the file.create permission. This issue is fixed in Panel version 1.12.3 and Wings version 1.12.2.
A flaw was found in libsoup. The libsoup append_param_quoted() function may contain an overflow bug resulting in a buffer under-read.
OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. Prior to version 0.9.0, the Java TLS ioctl probe reads user-controlled ioctl pointers with bpf_probe_read instead of bpf_probe_read_user. An instrumented local process can therefore point OBI at kernel memory and cause that memory to be copied into telemetry. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.
