CVSS v3.1 |
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3 is affected. macOS before 10.12.4 is affected. tvOS before 10.2 is affected. watchOS before 3.2 is affected. The issue involves the "Carbon" component. It allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (buffer overflow and application crash) via a crafted .dfont file.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3 is affected. The issue involves the Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) implementation in the "Profiles" component. It allows remote attackers to bypass cryptographic protection mechanisms by leveraging DES support.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. macOS before 10.12.4 is affected. The issue involves the "sudo" component. It allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges by leveraging membership in the admin group on a network directory server.
ReadDCMImage in coders/dcm.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via a crafted DICOM image, related to the ability of DCM_ReadNonNativeImages to yield an image list with zero frames.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iCloud before 6.2 on Windows is affected. iTunes before 12.6 on Windows is affected. The issue involves cleartext client-certificate transmission in the "APNs Server" component. It allows man-in-the-middle attackers to track users via correlation with this certificate.
The Management Console in WSO2 Application Server 5.3.0, WSO2 Business Process Server 3.6.0, WSO2 Business Rules Server 2.2.0, WSO2 Complex Event Processor 4.2.0, WSO2 Dashboard Server 2.0.0, WSO2 Data Analytics Server 3.1.0, WSO2 Data Services Server 3.5.1, and WSO2 Machine Learner 1.2.0 is affected by stored XSS.
A Reflected Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the authorization function exposed by RESTful Web Api of IBM Worklight Framework 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 7.0, 7.1, and 8.0. The vulnerable parameter is "scope"; if you set as its value a "realm" not defined in authenticationConfig.xml, you get an HTTP 403 Forbidden response and the value will be reflected in the body of the HTTP response. By setting it to arbitrary JavaScript code it is possible to modify the flow of the authorization function, potentially leading to credential disclosure within a trusted session.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3 is affected. The issue involves mishandling of deletion within the SQLite subsystem of the "Safari" component. It allows local users to identify the web-site visits that occurred in Private Browsing mode.
PRTG Network Monitor version 17.3.33.2830 is vulnerable to reflected Cross-Site Scripting on error.htm (the error page), via the errormsg parameter.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. Safari before 10.1 is affected. The issue involves the "Safari Login AutoFill" component. It allows local users to obtain access to locked keychain items via unspecified vectors.
A ReDoS (regular expression denial of service) flaw was found in the tough-cookie module before 2.3.3 for Node.js. An attacker that is able to make an HTTP request using a specially crafted cookie may cause the application to consume an excessive amount of CPU.
OpenDaylight Karaf 0.6.1-Carbon fails to clear the cache after a password change, allowing the old password to be used until the Karaf cache is manually cleared (e.g. via restart).
The Linux Kernel 2.6.32 and later are affected by a denial of service, by flooding the diagnostic port 0x80 an exception can be triggered leading to a kernel panic.
OpenText Documentum Content Server (formerly EMC Documentum Content Server) through 7.3 does not properly validate the input of the PUT_FILE RPC-command, which allows any authenticated user to hijack an arbitrary file from the Content Server filesystem; because some files on the Content Server filesystem are security-sensitive, this leads to privilege escalation.
The Apple Music (aka com.apple.android.music) application before 2.0 for Android does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
OpenText Documentum Content Server (formerly EMC Documentum Content Server) through 7.3 contains the following design gap, which allows an authenticated user to gain superuser privileges: Content Server stores information about uploaded files in dmr_content objects, which are queryable and "editable" (before release 7.2P02, any authenticated user was able to edit dmr_content objects; now any authenticated user may delete a dmr_content object and then create a new one with the old identifier) by authenticated users; this allows any authenticated user to replace the content of security-sensitive dmr_content objects (for example, dmr_content related to dm_method objects) and gain superuser privileges.
ImageMagick 7.0.7-0 Q16 has a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in PDFDelegateMessage in coders/pdf.c.
The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes).
