CVE-2026-97598 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: fib: bound automatic table ID allocation fib_empty_table() probes every table ID from 1 until it finds a free one. IPv4 tables are stored in a 256-bucket hash table, so a dense set of IDs makes each probe walk a growing hash chain while RTNL is held. Automatic table assignment ("ip rule ... table 0") is an IPv4-only legacy path. Bound the automatically allocated ID to 4096 so the RTNL hold stays bounded, without changing lookups of explicitly specified table IDs. This changes user-visible behavior. A table-0 rule previously received the lowest free ID in 1..RT_TABLE_MAX (0xFFFFFFFF). After this patch the search stops at 4096 and the rule add fails with ENOBUFS if that range is fully occupied. Explicit table IDs above 4096 remain usable. The automatic path is unused in practice: it is IPv4-only, not documented by ip-rule, uncovered by kernel selftests, and both NetworkManager and systemd refuse table 0.
CVE-2026-87721 1 Gerrit 1 Gerrit 2026-09-25 N/A
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400 / CWE-407) in the ANTLR 3 search query parser (QueryParser / Query.g) in Gerrit Code Review versions 2.0.19 through 3.12.9, 3.13.0 through 3.13.8, and 3.14.0 through 3.14.2 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker (or an authenticated user if anonymous read access is disabled) to cause a persistent denial of service (CPU exhaustion and HTTP worker thread pool starvation requiring a server restart) via crafted search queries containing deeply nested parentheses sent to query evaluation endpoints (/changes/?q=, /accounts/?q=, /groups/?query=, /projects/?query=, /Documentation/?q=, /changes/{id}/query?expression=, or SSH gerrit query). Because syntactic predicates in conditionOr and conditionAnd recurse via conditionBase without memoization prior to capability or visibility checks and worker threads do not abort when the client disconnects, a small number of requests (such as 25 requests matching default httpd.maxThreads) can permanently pin all HTTP worker threads. This issue is fixed in Gerrit Code Review versions 3.12.10, 3.13.9, and 3.14.3.
CVE-2026-98082 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix the possible bioc_list memory leak during error There are two possible ways to leak bioc memory on btrfs_ordered_extent::bioc_list: - An error occurred for btrfs_insert_one_raid_extent() Then the function btrfs_insert_raid_extent() immediately return without freeing any bioc in the bioc_list. - An ordered extent hit an IO error In that case the ordered extent will have BTRFS_ORDERED_IOERR set, and skip the call on btrfs_insert_raid_extent() completely. Fix the problem by: - Introduce a new helper, btrfs_cleanup_ordered_bioc_list() Which will remove all bioc from the bioc_list, and release the bioc. - Call the above helper for btrfs_insert_raid_extent() So that the cleanup helper is always called no matter what. - Call the above helper for btrfs_finish_one_ordered() This is called just before the final release on the ordered extent. This was reported by Sashiko when reviewing another patch.
CVE-2026-98092 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: amd: yc: fix memory leak in acp6x_pdm_dma_close() acp6x_pdm_dma_close() does not free the runtime->private_data buffer allocated in acp6x_pdm_dma_open(). Add the missing kfree.
CVE-2026-100079 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: unregister debugfs entries on teardown ucsi_register() creates per-instance debugfs entries, but ucsi_unregister() keeps them around until ucsi_destroy(). Drivers like ucsi_glink that unregister/register the same UCSI instance across remoteproc restart then try to create an already existing debugfs directory and log: debugfs: 'pmic_glink.ucsi.0' already exists in 'ucsi' Unregister debugfs entries as part of ucsi_unregister(), and clear ucsi->debugfs after freeing it so repeated unregister paths remain safe.
CVE-2026-97959 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_route: free emptied bucket on filter move route4_change can move an existing filter to a different top-level bucket: route4_set_parms recomputes the handle from TCA_ROUTE4_TO/ FROM/IIF, and the handle-mismatch check is gated on the 'new' flag, so for an existing filter the new handle may differ from the old one and land in a different bucket. When this happens, the filter is unlinked from the old bucket, but the bucket itself is never freed once it goes empty. The stale empty bucket remains in head->table[], causing route4_delete to report *last=false even after the last live filter is gone. That pins the empty tcf_proto and causes a leak. Fix this by refcounting the filters linked to a bucket and freeing the bucket when the count drops to zero. The existing scan in route4_delete goes away with it. The count is updated at all sites that link or unlink a filter during add, change and delete, and the bucket is dropped from head->table[] as soon as it reaches zero. Conditions to recreate the bug: CONFIG_NET_CLS_ROUTE4=y, CONFIG_NET_SCH_INGRESS=y, CONFIG_NET_CLS_ACT=y. tc qdisc replace dev lo clsact tc filter add dev lo ingress protocol ip pref 100 route from 1 to 1 tc filter change dev lo ingress protocol ip pref 100 handle 0x10001 \ route from 1 to 2 tc filter del dev lo ingress protocol ip pref 100 handle 0x10002 \ route from 1 to 2 tc filter show dev lo ingress | grep -c 'pref 100 route chain 0 '
CVE-2026-92573 1 Apache 1 Qpid Broker-j 2026-09-25 6.5 Medium
Improper handling of compressed data in the shared GZIP decompressor used for AMQP 0-8/0-9/0-9-1 and AMQP 0-10 message delivery, message conversion and HTTP management JSON rendering allows authenticated message producers to exhaust memory and disrupt broker availability via processing without a decompressed-output limit. This issue affects Apache Qpid Broker-J: through 10.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 10.1.1, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-61816 1 Zbateson 1 Mail-mime-parser 2026-09-25 7.5 High
zbateson/mail-mime-parser is a mail mime parser alternative to PHP's imap* functions and Pear libraries for reading messages in Internet Message Format RFC 822. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to version 3.0.6 and 4.0.2, an uncontrolled resource consumption / algorithmic complexity vulnerability (CWE-400) affects any application that parses untrusted email with this library. Three independent parsing paths are super-linear in cost, so a byte-size cap on the caller side does **not** bound the work done. A crafted message under 2 MB can consume seconds of CPU or hundreds of megabytes to multiple gigabytes of memory (leading to an out-of-memory kill), enabling denial of service. The parse is lazy, but the cost is paid on the first `getAllParts()` or content read. This is fxed in 4.0.2 and 3.0.6. The fixes add configurable limits on multipart nesting depth and on header count / total header size (recording a parse error past the threshold rather than throwing), and change sibling append to O(n). Users should upgrade to one of these (or later) versions. Versions 2.x are also affected but are end-of-life and will not receive patches; users on those lines should upgrade to a fixed release. (Versions prior to 2.0 used a different parser and are not affected by all three paths.) These costs are super-linear, so an input byte-size cap alone does not bound them. Until upgrading, restrict exposure of the parser to untrusted input, and run parsing under a constrained memory_limit and execution time limit so a malicious message fails its own request rather than exhausting the host.
CVE-2026-98128 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpi3mr: Fix target device refcount leak in mpi3mr_sas_port_add() mpi3mr_get_tgtdev_by_addr() increments the target device kref when it returns a device. If a subsequent error triggers a goto out_fail after the tgtdev reference is acquired, the reference is never released because the out_fail path does not call mpi3mr_tgtdev_put(). This prevents the target device structure from ever being freed. Add a tgtdev put in the out_fail path, guarded by a NULL check since tgtdev is only acquired for SAS_END_DEVICE types and the same cleanup path is shared by earlier error cases where tgtdev is still NULL.
CVE-2026-93814 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: core: Abort active target transfer on controller suspend When an SPI controller operating in target mode has a transfer in progress at the time of system suspend, the suspend path proceeds without aborting the ongoing transfer. This can leave the hardware in an inconsistent state, potentially causing the system to hang or fail to resume cleanly. Fix this by invoking the controller's target_abort callback from spi_controller_suspend() when the controller is in target mode and the callback is registered. This ensures any active target transfer is cleanly terminated before the controller is suspended.
CVE-2026-93812 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix sd_ndr.data memory leak in ksmbd_vfs_set_sd_xattr ndr_encode_v4_ntacl() allocates sd_ndr.data via kzalloc() at entry. If any subsequent ndr_write_*() call returns error during encoding, the allocated sd_ndr.data won't be freed and causes memory leak. Move kfree(sd_ndr.data) into out label to ensure the buffer gets released on all success and error return paths.
CVE-2026-93811 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: Fix acl.sd_buf memory leak and invalid sd_size error handling 1. When ndr_decode_v4_ntacl() fails, the code jumped to free_n_data which only freed n.data, skipping kfree(acl.sd_buf) and leaking the buffer. Zero-initialize struct xattr_ntacl acl, reorder error labels to out_free to release acl.sd_buf on all error paths. 2. if (acl.sd_size < sizeof(struct smb_ntsd)) is true, original code returned success without freeing sd_buf and left stale *pntsd. Set rc = -EINVAL before jumping to out_free to return error code and free buffer.
CVE-2026-93795 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: fix leaks and online flag on radix_tree_insert failure When radix_tree_insert() fails in blkg_create(), the error path has two issues: 1. blkg->online is set to true unconditionally, even when the blkg was never fully inserted. Move the assignment inside the success block. 2. The error path calls blkg_put() without first calling percpu_ref_kill(). Because the refcount is still in percpu mode, percpu_ref_put() only does this_cpu_sub() without checking for zero, so blkg_release() is never triggered. This permanently leaks the blkg memory, its percpu iostat, policy data, the parent blkg reference, and the cgroup css reference — the latter preventing the cgroup from ever being destroyed. Fix by replacing blkg_put() with percpu_ref_kill(), matching the pattern used in blkg_destroy().
CVE-2026-91867 1 Apache 1 Neethi 2026-09-25 4.3 Medium
When Neethi fetches a remote policy reference, it only limits the time per read, not the whole transfer, so a server that trickles bytes slowly can keep the fetch alive indefinitely and tie up the calling thread (denial of service). Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.4, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2026-93243 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/secretmem: properly account locked pages secretmem accounts folios by treating memory as if it were mlock()'d and thus limited by the RLIMIT_MEMLOCK limit. However the folios are unevictable and remain so until the inode is evicted, eliminating usual mlock() semantics - mapping folios then unmapping them does not clear their unevictable state, since it depends on AS_UNEVICTABLE, not PG_mlocked. A user can therefore easily work around the RLIMIT_MEMLOCK limit - simply map then unmap and VmLck no longer counts the secretmem range. Worse, folios are not accounted in the process's RSS, meaning the OOM killer won't know to kill the process. Repeatedly mapping/unmapping (or forking) can then result in the consumption of all available system memory with unevictable folios and cause system instability. A secretmem fd can be passed between processes and over fork so a per-process limit simply does not make sense, so follow the precedent set by io_uring, perf, skbuff, iommufd and xdp by tracking the number of locked pages in user_struct->locked_vm. Since the scope tracked is actually inode lifetime, the RLIMIT_MEMLOCK applies per-user not per-process, so it doesn't make sense to bypass for users with CAP_IPC_LOCK, therefore remove this bypass. There is simply no reason to carry on marking the mapping as mlock()'d since it's misleading and the lifecycle is now correctly handled, so remove this too. Note that secretmem does not support any form of truncation (including hole punching) and the folios are unreclaimable, so the folios need only be accounted on fault and unaccounted on inode destruction. __secretmem_account_pages() is more or less a duplicate of the code that io_uring etc. use, but since this is a bug fix that needs backporting, defer any de-duplication efforts to a follow-up. test_mlock_limit() asserts mlock_future_ok() on mmap(), however this has been removed, so remove the test altogether for the fix. A new test will be sent separately for upstream.
CVE-2026-93264 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/efa: Fix PBL chunk length computation On register MR, when creating the PBL, if it's an indirect PBL we create a chunk list to hold the PBL pages pointers. Each chunk is 4KB in size and can hold 510 addresses (EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK) and has a 12-byte control buffer at the end of it holding the next chunk's pointer and its length. If the PBL number of pages is a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, the calculated last chunk length is wrongly computed as 0, even though that chunk is fully populated with 510 real page pointers. This wrong length is used both to DMA map the chunk and is propagated to the device, causing the device to see the chunk as empty and reject the memory registration. Fix the calculation so it will be performed only if the number of pages isn't a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, if it is, its already handled in the above loop correctly. Also prevent out-of-bounds reach in the chunks array in such scenario.
CVE-2026-93258 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: do not use make_bad_inode() in ocfs2_read_inode_block_full() This reverts commit 58b6fcd2ab34 ("ocfs2: mark inode bad upon validation failure during read"). Since 'make_bad_inode()' resets inode type to S_IFREG, doing this for directory inode during active VFS lookup is likely to confuse the latter, including VFS_BUG_ON_INODE() triggered in this case.
CVE-2026-65827 1 Docmost 1 Docmost 2026-09-25 6.5 Medium
Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. From 0.21.0 until 0.95.0, any authenticated workspace member with edit rights to a space can upload an archive to the page-import feature whose ZIP extraction routine does not limit total uncompressed size, per-entry size, or entry count. The extractor writes entries to the server temp directory and automatically extracts one nested ZIP, allowing an outer upload within the default 200 MB limit to expand by multiple GB. The resulting disk exhaustion can crash the import worker and degrade or take down the instance for all tenants. This issue is fixed in version 0.95.0.
CVE-2026-87722 1 Gerrit 1 Gerrit 2026-09-25 N/A
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400 / CWE-1333) in regex search query predicates (such as RegexProjectPredicate, RegexRefPredicate, RegexPathPredicate, and sibling predicates) and REST regex filter endpoints (RegexListSearcher /projects/?r= and RefFilter /projects/{project}/branches/?r=) in Gerrit Code Review versions 2.1.6 through 3.12.9, 3.13.0 through 3.13.8, and 3.14.0 through 3.14.2 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker (or an authenticated user if anonymous read access is disabled) to cause a denial of service (CPU starvation and JVM heap exhaustion / OutOfMemoryError) via crafted search queries or REST API requests containing regular expressions with large counted repetitions or exponential DFA determinization patterns. Because the user-supplied regular expression is compiled into an unbounded dk.brics.automaton instance (new RegExp(re).toAutomaton()) on the request thread prior to index evaluation or access control visibility filtering, trivial queries can exhaust JVM heap or pin request threads regardless of heap size. This issue is fixed in Gerrit Code Review versions 3.12.10, 3.13.9, and 3.14.3.
CVE-2026-50125 1 Stackloklabs 1 Mkp 2026-09-24 7.5 High
MKP is a Model Context Protocol server for Kubernetes. Prior to 0.4.1, cmd/server/main.go exposes the default HTTP endpoint and pkg/mcp/server.go registers the unauthenticated get_resource tool, which accepts attacker-controlled limitBytes and tailLines values for the pods logs subresource. buildPodLogOpts() in pkg/k8s/subresource.go parses those values as unbounded int64 parameters, and defaultGetPodLogs() copies the returned Kubernetes log stream through io.Copy into an in-memory bytes.Buffer without an application-side cap. A remote attacker who can reach the default port 8080 MCP endpoint and select a pod with sufficiently large accumulated logs can send one tools/call request that causes large allocations and additional response copies, while the request-frequency limiter does not constrain per-request volume. This can exhaust process memory, terminate the MKP server, and deny the MCP service; observed testing showed more than one GiB of RSS growth while handling a 128 MiB requested stream. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.1.
