CVSS v3.1 |
| Unspecified vulnerability in "Solaris Auditing" in the Basic Security Module (BSM) in Sun Solaris 10, when configured for auditing of networking (nt) events, allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) via unspecified vectors. |
| Interpretation conflict in the Sun Java Virtual Machine (JVM) allows user-assisted remote attackers to conduct a multi-pin DNS rebinding attack and execute arbitrary JavaScript in an intranet context, when an intranet web server has an HTML document that references a "mayscript=true" Java applet through a local relative URI, which may be associated with different IP addresses by the browser and the JVM. |
| Untrusted search path vulnerability in a certain Red Hat build script for OpenOffice.org (OOo) 1.1.x on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 3 and 4 allows local users to gain privileges via a malicious library in the current working directory, related to incorrect quoting of the ORIGIN symbol for use in the RPATH library path. |
| IBM DB2 8 before FP17, 9.1 before FP5, and 9.5 before FP2 provides an INSTALL_JAR (aka sqlj.install_jar) procedure, which allows remote authenticated users to create or overwrite arbitrary files via unspecified calls. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) 5.x before 5.1(8)E2 and 6.x before 6.0(5)E2, when inline mode and jumbo Ethernet support are enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic), and possibly bypass intended restrictions on network traffic, via a "specific series of jumbo Ethernet frames." |
| The Java Plug-in in Java SE Development Kit (JDK) and Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 17 and earlier; 6 Update 12 and earlier; and 1.4.2_19 and earlier does not prevent Javascript that is loaded from the localhost from connecting to other ports on the system, which allows user-assisted attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via LiveConnect, aka CR 6724331. NOTE: this vulnerability can be leveraged with separate cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities for remote attack vectors. |
| The DNS server in Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP4, and Server 2003 SP1 and SP2, uses predictable transaction IDs when querying other DNS servers, which allows remote attackers to spoof DNS replies, poison the DNS cache, and facilitate further attack vectors. |
| During an address list folding when a separating comma ends up on a folded line and that line is to be unicode-encoded then the separator itself is also unicode-encoded. Expected behavior is that the separating comma remains a plan comma. This can result in the address header being misinterpreted by some mail servers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
timekeeping: Adjust the leap state for the correct auxiliary timekeeper
When __do_ajdtimex() was introduced to handle adjtimex for any
timekeeper, this reference to tk_core was not updated. When called on an
auxiliary timekeeper, the core timekeeper would be updated incorrectly.
This gets caught by the lock debugging diagnostics because the
timekeepers sequence lock gets written to without holding its
associated spinlock:
WARNING: include/linux/seqlock.h:226 at __do_adjtimex+0x394/0x3b0, CPU#2: test/125

Update the correct auxiliary timekeeper. |
| Botan is a C++ cryptography library. Prior to version 3.11.1, the TLS 1.3 implementation allowed ApplicationData records to be processed prior to the Finished message being received. A server which is attempting to enforce client authentication via certificates can by bypassed by a client which entirely omits Certificate, CertificateVerify, and the Finished message and instead sends application data records. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.1. |
| When applications specify HTTP response headers for servlet applications using Spring Security, there is the possibility that the HTTP Headers will not be written.
This issue affects Spring Security Servlet applications using lazy (default) writing of HTTP Headers:
: from 5.7.0 through 5.7.21, from 5.8.0 through 5.8.23, from 6.3.0 through 6.3.14, from 6.4.0 through 6.4.14, from 6.5.0 through 6.5.8, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.3. |
| The web interface on Cisco IOS 12.3(8)JA and 12.3(8)JA1, as used on the Cisco Wireless Access Point and Wireless Bridge, reconfigures itself when it is changed to use the "Local User List Only (Individual Passwords)" setting, which removes all security and password configurations and allows remote attackers to access the system. |
| snmp_api.c in snmpd in Net-SNMP 5.2.x before 5.2.2, 5.1.x before 5.1.3, and 5.0.x before 5.0.10.2, when running in master agentx mode, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) by causing a particular TCP disconnect, which triggers a free of an incorrect variable, a different vulnerability than CVE-2005-2177. |
| The default installation of Trend Micro OfficeScan 3.0 through 3.54 and 5.x allows remote attackers to bypass authentication from cgiChkMasterPasswd.exe and gain access to the web management console via a direct request to cgiMasterPwd.exe. |
| The "Open 'safe' files after downloading" option in Safari on Apple Mac OS X allows remote user-assisted attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into downloading a __MACOSX folder that contains metadata (resource fork) that invokes the Terminal, which automatically interprets the script using bash, as demonstrated using a ZIP file that contains a script with a safe file extension. |
| NetScreen ScreenOS before 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to bypass the Malicious-URL blocking feature by splitting the URL into fragmented IP requests. |
| The administrator/phpinfo.php script in Mambo Site Server 4.0.11 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information such as the full web root path via phpinfo.php, which calls the phpinfo function. |
| syslogd on OpenBSD 2.9 through 3.2 does not change the source IP address of syslog packets when the machine's IP addressed is changed without rebooting, e.g. via ifconfig, which can cause incorrect information to be sent to the syslog server. |
| The installation program for HP-UX Visualize Conference B.11.00.11 running on HP-UX 11.00 and 11.11 installs /etc/dt and its subdirecties with insecure permissions, which allows local users to read or write arbitrary files. |
| ProxyView has a default administrator password of Administrator for Embedded Windows NT, which allows remote attackers to gain access. |
