| CVE-2026-93287 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: smbus: reject oversized block transfers in the common path The SMBus block transfer length data->block[0] is validated in i2c_smbus_xfer_emulated() but that check runs too late for tracepoints and is skipped entirely when the adapter provides a native smbus_xfer implementation. This allows user-controlled oversized block lengths to reach tracepoint memcpy calls and driver callbacks unchecked. Add an early validation in __i2c_smbus_xfer() that rejects block transfers whose caller-supplied length is zero or exceeds I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX before any tracepoint fires or driver callback runs. data->block[0] is filled in by the device on SMBus block reads, so the check is scoped to operations where the length is actually supplied by the caller. This is consistent with the existing -EINVAL convention in the emulated path and protects all downstream consumers at once: the smbus_write tracepoint, all native smbus_xfer driver implementations, and the emulated path. Two distinct bugs are fixed by this change: Bug 1: smbus_write tracepoint OOB (include/trace/events/smbus.h) trace_smbus_write() fires before any validation and copies data->block[0]+1 bytes into a 34-byte event buffer. With block[0]=0xfe the tracepoint copies 255 bytes, overflowing by 221. BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in trace_event_raw_event_smbus_write+0x27c/0x530 Read of size 255 at addr ffff88800d98fcf8 by task poc_smbus/91 Call Trace: <TASK> __asan_memcpy+0x23/0x80 trace_event_raw_event_smbus_write+0x27c/0x530 __i2c_smbus_xfer+0x43a/0xa40 i2c_smbus_xfer+0x19e/0x340 i2cdev_ioctl_smbus+0x38f/0x7f0 i2cdev_ioctl+0x35e/0x680 __x64_sys_ioctl+0x147/0x1e0 do_syscall_64+0xcf/0x15a0 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x76/0x7e </TASK> Bug 2: i2c-stub I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA OOB (drivers/i2c/i2c-stub.c) stub_xfer() implements .smbus_xfer directly and only clamps block[0] against 256-command, not I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX. With block[0]=0xff and command=0 the loop accesses block[1+i] for i up to 254, far past the 34-byte union. | CVE-2026-93803 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: libipw: fix key index receive bound checks libipw_rx() reads skb->data[hdrlen + 3] to extract the WEP key index in both the software-decrypt key selection path and the hardware-decrypted IV/ICV strip path. In both places the existing guard only checks skb->len >= hdrlen + 3, which proves bytes up to hdrlen + 2 but not the byte at hdrlen + 3. Require hdrlen + 4 bytes before reading that item in both paths. This is a local source-boundary check only; it does not change the key index semantics. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97442 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-01 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix invalid data access in ath11k_dp_rx_h_undecap_nwifi In certain cases, hardware might provide packets with a length greater than the maximum native Wi-Fi header length. This can lead to accessing and modifying fields in the header within the ath11k_dp_rx_h_undecap_nwifi() function for the DP_RX_DECAP_TYPE_NATIVE_WIFI decap type and potentially result in invalid data access and memory corruption. Kernel stack is corrupted in: ath11k_dp_rx_h_undecap+0x6b0/0x6b0 [ath11k] Call trace: ath11k_dp_rx_h_mpdu+0x0/0x2e8 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_rx_h_mpdu+0x1e0/0x2e8 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_rx_wbm_err+0x1e0/0x450 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_rx_process_wbm_err+0x2fc/0x460 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_service_srng+0x2e0/0x348 [ath11k] Add a sanity check before processing the SKB to prevent invalid data access in the undecap native Wi-Fi function for the DP_RX_DECAP_TYPE_NATIVE_WIFI decap type. This adapted from the discussion/patch of the ath12k driver [1]. Tested-on: WCN6855 hw2.1 PCI WLAN.HSP.1.1-04685-QCAHSPSWPL_V1_V2_SILICONZ_IOE-1 | ||||
| CVE-2026-55232 | 2026-10-01 | 7.6 High | ||
| Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to version 1.0.8.6, Vvveb's SSRF guard resolves a host with an IPv4-only function and never inspects IPv6, so any host that lacks an A record passes a private-range check. Editor oEmbed proxy fetches an attacker-supplied URL server side and reflects a response body, so an authenticated admin-panel user (default role site_admin or higher) can read internal-only services and cloud metadata, including IAM credentials, using an IPv6 literal or a domain that carries only an AAAA record. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.8.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55230 | 2026-10-01 | 8.7 High | ||
| Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to version 1.0.8.6, Vvveb's HTML sanitizer fails to strip event-handler attributes when a tag carries a greater-than character inside a quoted attribute value. A low-privilege content author (default role author or contributor) can store a payload in post or product content that runs JavaScript in a browser of every visitor and of any administrator who views or previews that content, which opens a path to admin account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.8.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55231 | 2026-10-01 | 7.2 High | ||
| Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to version 1.0.8.6, a flawed central path sanitizer lets an authenticated admin-panel user who holds backup access (default role site_admin or higher) read and delete arbitrary files on a server. An attacker can recover database credentials from config/db.php, read host files such as /etc/passwd, and delete config/db.php to push a site back into install mode for a full takeover. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.8.6. | ||||

| CVE-2026-85626 | 1 Cyanheads | 1 Git-mcp-server | 2026-10-01 | 7.5 High |
| git-mcp-server 2.15.1 contains an argument injection vulnerability in the ref and object parameters of git_log, git_diff, and git_show tools that lack leading-dash validation. Attackers can inject git command-line options like --output= to write files outside the repository to arbitrary paths accessible by the process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9864 | 1 Fortra | 1 Core Privileged Access Manager (boks) | 2026-10-01 | 4.8 Medium |
| Fortra BoKS Server Agent contains a predictable password generation vulnerability in the adjoin utility. Machine-account passwords generated during Active Directory join or password renewal operations may have significantly less entropy than intended, making them more susceptible to prediction by an attacker who can estimate when the password was generated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101322 | 2026-10-01 | N/A | ||
| In Eclipse BaSyx AAS Web UI versions v2-241220 through releases before v2-260924, the shared request handler attached the selected infrastructure's `Authorization` header to outgoing requests without checking the destination origin. In deployments using authentication, an attacker could induce a user to open a crafted Web UI link whose `aas` or `path` query parameter points to an attacker-controlled endpoint. The user's browser would then send the configured Basic Authentication credentials, Bearer token, or an available OAuth2 access token to that endpoint. The attacker could reuse the disclosed credential to access protected AAS services with the victim's privileges. The issue is fixed in v2-260924. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15911 | 1 Confluent | 1 Confluent-kafka | 2026-10-01 | 7.4 High |
| Confluent Kafka Python client's HashiCorp Vault KMS integration could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper TLS certificate validation. | ||||

| CVE-2026-104059 | 2026-10-01 | 8.1 High | ||
| Lektor 3.3.14 and 3.4.0b15 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the admin API blueprint that allows unauthenticated attackers to perform state-changing actions by sending cross-origin requests without CSRF tokens, Origin/Referer validation, CORS configuration, or Host allowlisting. Attackers can exploit the newattachment, deleterecord, build, clean, and publish endpoints from a malicious web page to write arbitrary files, delete pages, wipe build output, trigger deployment publication, and via DNS rebinding reach read endpoints to disclose data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96658 | 1 Redhat | 3 Satellite, Satellite Capsule, Satellite Utils | 2026-10-01 | 9.9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. An authenticated attacker with low-level permissions can achieve remote code execution (RCE) by bypassing the safemode sandbox within the templating engine. Due to improper handling of delegated methods, an attacker can append unauthorized functions to the allowed execution list, enabling them to run arbitrary commands on the hosting server. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86950 | 1 Apple | 4 Ios And Ipados, Ipados, Iphone Os and 1 more | 2026-10-01 | 8.8 High |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.1 and iPadOS 26.7.1, macOS Sequoia 15.8.1, macOS Tahoe 26.7.1. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 27. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86131 | 1 Watchguard | 1 Fireware Os | 2026-10-01 | N/A |
| A code injection vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS's BOVPN Over TLS client configuration handling allows an attacker who controls the remote VPN server to execute arbitrary commands as root on the connecting Firebox. | ||||
| CVE-2026-77387 | 2026-10-01 | 4 Medium | ||
| geopy is a geocoding library for Python. Prior to 2.5.0, geopy.Point and Point.from_string() can spend excessive CPU time due to inefficient regular-expression behavior when an application passes a long malformed coordinate string without the 256-character input limit used by the fix. Geocoder reverse methods also reach the vulnerable parsing path when called with string inputs. Repeated attacker-controlled requests can cause a denial of service, while the numeric Point constructor is unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0. | ||||
