CVSS v3.1 |
| bep/imagemeta is a Go library for reading EXIF, IPTC and XMP image meta data from JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and WebP files. The EXIF data format allows for defining excessively large data structures in relatively small payloads. Before v0.10.0, If you didn't trust the input images, this could be abused to construct denial-of-service attacks. v0.10.0 added LimitNumTags (default 5000) and LimitTagSize (default 10000) options. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Revert "NFSD: Remove the cap on number of operations per NFSv4 COMPOUND"
I've found that pynfs COMP6 now leaves the connection or lease in a
strange state, which causes CLOSE9 to hang indefinitely. I've dug
into it a little, but I haven't been able to root-cause it yet.
However, I bisected to commit 48aab1606fa8 ("NFSD: Remove the cap on
number of operations per NFSv4 COMPOUND").
Tianshuo Han also reports a potential vulnerability when decoding
an NFSv4 COMPOUND. An attacker can place an arbitrarily large op
count in the COMPOUND header, which results in:
[ 51.410584] nfsd: vmalloc error: size 1209533382144, exceeds total
pages, mode:0xdc0(GFP_KERNEL|__GFP_ZERO),
nodemask=(null),cpuset=/,mems_allowed=0
when NFSD attempts to allocate the COMPOUND op array.
Let's restore the operation-per-COMPOUND limit, but increased to 200
for now. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in LG Electronics LG SuperSign CMS allows Port Scanning. This issue affects LG SuperSign CMS: from 4.1.3 before < 4.3.1. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling issue exists in HMI ViewJet C-more series and HMI GC-A2 series, which may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |
| A flaw was found in the virtio-crypto device of QEMU. A malicious guest operating system can exploit a missing length limit in the AKCIPHER path, leading to uncontrolled memory allocation. This can result in a denial of service (DoS) on the host system by causing the QEMU process to terminate unexpectedly. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in CPCI85 Central Processing/Communication (All versions < V26.10), RTUM85 RTU Base (All versions < V26.10). The affected application contains denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability. The remote operation mode is susceptible to a resource exhaustion condition when subjected to a high volume of requests. Sending multiple requests can exhaust resources, preventing parameterization and requiring a reset or reboot to restore functionality. |
| Denial-of-service in the WebRTC: Signaling component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 149, Firefox ESR 140.9, Thunderbird 149, and Thunderbird 140.9. |
| Denial-of-service in the Libraries component in NSS. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 149 and Thunderbird 149. |
| Ash Framework is a declarative, extensible framework for building Elixir applications. Prior to version 3.22.0, Ash.Type.Module.cast_input/2 unconditionally creates a new Erlang atom via Module.concat([value]) for any user-supplied binary string that starts with "Elixir.", before verifying whether the referenced module exists. Because Erlang atoms are never garbage-collected and the BEAM atom table has a hard default limit of approximately 1,048,576 entries, an attacker who can submit values to any resource attribute or argument of type :module can exhaust this table and crash the entire BEAM VM, taking down the application. This issue has been patched in version 3.22.0. |
| LTI JupyterHub Authenticator is a JupyterHub authenticator for LTI. Prior to version 1.6.3, the LTI 1.1 validator stores OAuth nonces in a class-level dictionary that grows without bounds. Nonces are added before signature validation, so an attacker with knowledge of a valid consumer key can send repeated requests with unique nonces to gradually exhaust server memory, causing a denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.3. |
| Mesop is a Python-based UI framework that allows users to build web applications. From version 1.2.3 to before version 1.2.5, an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability exists in the WebSocket implementation of the Mesop framework. An unauthenticated attacker can send a rapid succession of WebSocket messages, forcing the server to spawn an unbounded number of operating system threads. This leads to thread exhaustion and Out of Memory (OOM) errors, causing a complete Denial of Service (DoS) for any application built on the framework. This issue has been patched in version 1.2.5. |
| An issue was discovered in 6.0 before 6.0.4, 5.2 before 5.2.13, and 4.2 before 4.2.30.
ASGI requests with a missing or understated `Content-Length` header could
bypass the `DATA_UPLOAD_MAX_MEMORY_SIZE` limit when reading
`HttpRequest.body`, allowing remote attackers to load an unbounded request body into
memory.
Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected.
Django would like to thank Superior for reporting this issue. |
| Affected devices do not properly handle the renegotiation of SSL/TLS parameters. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass the TCP brute force prevention and lead to a denial of service condition for the duration of the attack. |
| Affected devices contain a vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial of service condition. The vulnerability can be triggered if a large amount of DCP reset packets are sent to the device. |
| Tmds.DBus provides .NET libraries for working with D-Bus from .NET. Tmds.DBus and Tmds.DBus.Protocol are vulnerable to malicious D-Bus peers. A peer on the same bus can spoof signals by impersonating the owner of a well-known name, exhaust system resources or cause file descriptor spillover by sending messages with an excessive number of Unix file descriptors, and crash the application by sending malformed message bodies that cause unhandled exceptions on the SynchronizationContext. This vulnerability is fixed in Tmds.DBus 0.92.0 and Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.92.0 and 0.21.3. |
| In Modem, there is a possible system crash due to a logic error. This could lead to remote denial of service, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01106496; Issue ID: MSV-4467. |
| A denial of service vulnerability exists in React Server Components, affecting the following packages: react-server-dom-parcel, react-server-dom-turbopack and react-server-dom-webpack (versions 19.0.0 through 19.0.4, 19.1.0 through 19.1.5, and 19.2.0 through 19.2.4). The vulnerability is triggered by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to Server Function endpoints. The payload of the HTTP request causes excessive CPU usage for up to a minute ending in a thrown error that is catchable. |
| An issue in Dokuwiki v.2025-05-14b "Librarian" [56.2] allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the media_upload_xhr() function in the media.php file |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki - ReportIncident Extension allows HTTP DoS.
This issue was remediated only on the `master` branch. |
| Suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine. Prior to versions 7.0.15 and 8.0.4, inefficiency in KRB5 buffering can lead to performance degradation. This issue has been patched in versions 7.0.15 and 8.0.4. |
