CVSS v3.1 |
Backdrop CMS Core 1.35.x before 1.35.2 and 1.34.x before 1.34.6 does not sufficiently validate uploaded SVG images to ensure they lack potentially dangerous SVG tags. SVG images can contain clickable links or executable scripting. By uploading a crafted SVG, it is possible to execute scripting in the browser when an SVG image is viewed. This issue is mitigated by the attacker needing to be able to upload SVG images, and that Backdrop embeds all uploaded SVG images within <img> tags, which prevents script from executing. The SVG must be viewed directly by its URL in order to run any embedded scripting.
A flaw was found in Foreman. An authenticated attacker with low-level permissions can achieve remote code execution (RCE) by bypassing the safemode sandbox within the templating engine. Due to improper handling of delegated methods, an attacker can append unauthorized functions to the allowed execution list, enabling them to run arbitrary commands on the hosting server.
An output escaping vulnerability in the Audit Logs component of Crafty Controller allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to perform stored cross-site scripting via HTTP header injection
A flaw was found in Foreman. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user with low-level Viewer permissions to cause unauthorized information disclosure by submitting requests to template preview endpoints. By exploiting this issue, the user can access sensitive data, such as host root passwords. Furthermore, under insecure system configurations where Safemode protections are disabled, the flaw may allow the user to execute arbitrary commands as the Foreman system account.
Untrusted pointer dereference in Windows Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) Enclave allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
No cwe for this issue in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
Improper neutralization of special elements in output used by a downstream component ('injection') in Azure Storage Library allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
Improper authorization in Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Linux Kernel allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
The fanx_fingerprint function in ssl/sslxprint.c of ssldump allocates a heap buffer for formatting FAN/1 X.509 certificate fingerprints. The allocation size is computed as strlen(b64) + strlen(hex) + 31, but the format string "fan1:x509:server:passive:%s:sha256:%s" contains 33 fixed characters in addition to the two variable-length fields and a null terminator, requiring strlen(b64) + strlen(hex) + 34 bytes. This miscalculation results in a 3-byte heap-based buffer overflow on every invocation of the function with valid inputs. The overflow occurs because sprintf writes the full formatted string into the undersized heap buffer without bounds checking. An attacker who can supply a crafted pcap file containing a TLS X.509 certificate to a user running ssldump with FAN/1 fingerprinting enabled (for example with the -j -N options) can trigger the overflow. The resulting heap corruption may lead to denial of service through a crash or, in a worst-case scenario, arbitrary code execution in the context of the user running ssldump. The vulnerability is deterministic and requires no special privileges beyond the ability to provide input to the tool.
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 fail to require re-entry of the stored client secret when validating an outgoing OAuth connection, which allows an authenticated user with permission to manage outgoing OAuth connections to obtain the secret via pointing the token URL at an attacker-controlled endpoint and triggering validation.. | Mattermost versions 11.10.x <= 11.10.0, 11.7.x <= 11.7.9, 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5 fail to validate the combination of guest and admin scheme roles which allows an authenticated attacker to escalate a guest account to team or channel admin via a crafted PUT request to the member roles API endpoint.. | Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 fail to invalidate the stored AD/LDAP bind password when other connection settings (such as the server address) are changed, which allows a System Console administrator to disclose the plaintext bind password to an attacker-controlled server via the Test Connection / diagnostics feature. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00764 |
Mattermost versions 11.10.x <= 11.10.0, 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10 fail to cap the number and size of mention keys stored in a user's notification properties, and to bound the quadratic multibyte-keyword matching performed for each post, which allows an authenticated user to degrade post-processing latency and consume excessive CPU on behalf of other members of any channel they share via storing an oversized notify_props.mention_keys list on their own profile.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00773
Mattermost versions 11.10.x <= 11.10.0, 11.7.x <= 11.7.9, 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5 fail to enforce DM/GM check on server side which allows an authenticated user to quarantine a post belonging to DM or GM via direct API call.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00756
Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 fail to sanitize the active channel field returned by the user status API endpoints, which allows an authenticated user to learn the channel ID of a private channel another user is actively viewing via the status endpoints, without being a member of that channel. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00765
Mattermost versions 11.10.x <= 11.10.0, 11.7.x <= 11.7.9, 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5 fail to strip action integration secrets from post payloads before broadcasting post-deletion web socket events and returning thread API responses, which allows an authenticated channel member to obtain server-side webhook URLs and authentication context from interactive-message posts via the post_deleted websocket event or the threads REST API.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00766
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 fail to sanitize authentication tokens before writing them to server log entries, which allows an attacker with access to server logs to obtain valid session tokens or OAuth access tokens and impersonate authenticated users via the debug-level Mattermost server log..
