It will cause the snprintf() function to write uninitialized data into linebuf within hex_dump_to_buffer(). Fix this by using kzalloc instead of kmalloc to clear its content at the beginning in diMount().
CVE-2025-37740 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-01-02 5.5 Medium

This causes (re)locking on of the real_dev. Propagate allmulti/promisc on flags change, not on the open. There is a slight semantics change that vlans that are down now propagate the flags, but this seems unlikely to result in the real issues. CVE-2025-23161 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-01-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: vmd: Make vmd_dev::cfg_lock a raw_spinlock_t type The access to the PCI config space via pci_ops::read and pci_ops::write is a low-level hardware access. The functions can be accessed with disabled interrupts even on PREEMPT_RT. The pci_lock is a raw_spinlock_t for this purpose. A spinlock_t becomes a sleeping lock on PREEMPT_RT, so it cannot be acquired with disabled interrupts. The vmd_dev::cfg_lock is accessed in the same context as the pci_lock. Make vmd_dev::cfg_lock a raw_spinlock_t type so it can be used with interrupts disabled. This was reported as: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/spinlock_rt.c:48 Call Trace: rt_spin_lock+0x4e/0x130 vmd_pci_read+0x8d/0x100 [vmd] pci_user_read_config_byte+0x6f/0xe0 pci_read_config+0xfe/0x290 sysfs_kf_bin_read+0x68/0x90 [bigeasy: reword commit message] Tested-off-by: Luis Claudio R. CVE-2025-21993 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-02 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iscsi_ibft: Fix UBSAN shift-out-of-bounds warning in ibft_attr_show_nic() When performing an iSCSI boot using IPv6, iscsistart still reads the /sys/firmware/ibft/ethernetX/subnet-mask entry. Since the IPv6 prefix length is 64, this causes the shift exponent to become negative, triggering a UBSAN warning. As the concept of a subnet mask does not apply to IPv6, the value is set to ~0 to suppress the warning message.
CVE-2025-21957 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla1280: Fix kernel oops when debug level > 2 A null dereference or oops exception will eventually occur when qla1280.c driver is compiled with DEBUG_QLA1280 enabled and ql_debug_level > 2. I think its clear from the code that the intention here is sg_dma_len(s) not length of sg_next(s) when printing the debug info.
