| CVE-2025-38249 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-12-18 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Fix out-of-bounds read in snd_usb_get_audioformat_uac3() In snd_usb_get_audioformat_uac3(), the length value returned from snd_usb_ctl_msg() is used directly for memory allocation without validation. This length is controlled by the USB device. The allocated buffer is cast to a uac3_cluster_header_descriptor and its fields are accessed without verifying that the buffer is large enough. If the device returns a smaller than expected length, this leads to an out-of-bounds read. Add a length check to ensure the buffer is large enough for uac3_cluster_header_descriptor. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38286 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-12-18 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: at91: Fix possible out-of-boundary access at91_gpio_probe() doesn't check that given OF alias is not available or something went wrong when trying to get it. This might have consequences when accessing gpio_chips array with that value as an index. Note, that BUG() can be compiled out and hence won't actually perform the required checks. | ||||
| CVE-2024-50349 | 2 Debian, Git | 2 Debian Linux, Git | 2025-12-18 | 4.7 Medium |
| Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. When Git asks for credentials via a terminal prompt (i.e. without using any credential helper), it prints out the host name for which the user is expected to provide a username and/or a password. At this stage, any URL-encoded parts have been decoded already, and are printed verbatim. This allows attackers to craft URLs that contain ANSI escape sequences that the terminal interpret to confuse users e.g. into providing passwords for trusted Git hosting sites when in fact they are then sent to untrusted sites that are under the attacker's control. This issue has been patch via commits `7725b81` and `c903985` which are included in release versions v2.48.1, v2.47.2, v2.46.3, v2.45.3, v2.44.3, v2.43.6, v2.42.4, v2.41.3, and v2.40.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid cloning from untrusted URLs, especially recursive clones. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59151 | 1 Pi-hole | 2 Pi-hole, Web Interface | 2025-12-18 | 8.2 High |
| Pi-hole Admin Interface is a web interface for managing Pi-hole, a network-level advertisement and internet tracker blocking application. Pi-hole Admin Interface before 6.3 is vulnerable to Carriage Return Line Feed (CRLF) injection. When a request is made to a file ending with the .lp extension, the application performs a redirect without properly sanitizing the input. An attacker can inject carriage return and line feed characters (%0d%0a) to manipulate both the headers and the content of the HTTP response. This enables the injection of arbitrary HTTP response headers, potentially leading to session fixation, cache poisoning, and the weakening or bypassing of browser-based security mechanisms such as Content Security Policy or X-XSS-Protection. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.3. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4582 | 2 Apple, Mozilla | 4 Macos, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 1 more | 2025-12-18 | 8.8 High |
| Due to large allocation checks in Angle for glsl shaders being too lenient a buffer overflow could have occurred when allocating too much private shader memory on mac OS. *This bug only affects Firefox on macOS. Other operating systems are unaffected.* This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 115.2, and Thunderbird < 115.2. | ||||
| CVE-2023-41913 | 1 Strongswan | 1 Strongswan | 2025-12-18 | 9.8 Critical |
| strongSwan before 5.9.12 has a buffer overflow and possible unauthenticated remote code execution via a DH public value that exceeds the internal buffer in charon-tkm's DH proxy. The earliest affected version is 5.3.0. An attack can occur via a crafted IKE_SA_INIT message. | ||||
| CVE-2023-25690 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 8 Http Server, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 5 more | 2025-12-18 | 9.8 Critical |
| Some mod_proxy configurations on Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.55 allow a HTTP Request Smuggling attack. Configurations are affected when mod_proxy is enabled along with some form of RewriteRule or ProxyPassMatch in which a non-specific pattern matches some portion of the user-supplied request-target (URL) data and is then re-inserted into the proxied request-target using variable substitution. For example, something like: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule "^/here/(.*)" "http://example.com:8080/elsewhere?$1"; [P] ProxyPassReverse /here/ http://example.com:8080/ Request splitting/smuggling could result in bypass of access controls in the proxy server, proxying unintended URLs to existing origin servers, and cache poisoning. Users are recommended to update to at least version 2.4.56 of Apache HTTP Server. | ||||
| CVE-2023-23605 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-12-18 | 8.8 High |
| Mozilla developers and the Mozilla Fuzzing Team reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 108 and Firefox ESR 102.6. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 109, Firefox ESR < 102.7, and Thunderbird < 102.7. | ||||
| CVE-2023-23603 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-12-18 | 6.5 Medium |
| Regular expressions used to filter out forbidden properties and values from style directives in calls to `console.log` weren't accounting for external URLs. Data could then be potentially exfiltrated from the browser. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 109, Firefox ESR < 102.7, and Thunderbird < 102.7. | ||||
| CVE-2023-23602 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-12-18 | 6.5 Medium |
| A mishandled security check when creating a WebSocket in a WebWorker caused the Content Security Policy connect-src header to be ignored. This could lead to connections to restricted origins from inside WebWorkers. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 109, Firefox ESR < 102.7, and Thunderbird < 102.7. | ||||
| CVE-2023-23599 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-12-18 | 6.5 Medium |
| When copying a network request from the developer tools panel as a curl command the output was not being properly sanitized and could allow arbitrary commands to be hidden within. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 109, Firefox ESR < 102.7, and Thunderbird < 102.7. | ||||
| CVE-2022-28615 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2025-12-18 | 9.1 Critical |
| Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may crash or disclose information due to a read beyond bounds in ap_strcmp_match() when provided with an extremely large input buffer. While no code distributed with the server can be coerced into such a call, third-party modules or lua scripts that use ap_strcmp_match() may hypothetically be affected. | ||||
| CVE-2024-52006 | 2 Debian, Git | 2 Debian Linux, Git | 2025-12-18 | 7.5 High |
| Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. Git defines a line-based protocol that is used to exchange information between Git and Git credential helpers. Some ecosystems (most notably, .NET and node.js) interpret single Carriage Return characters as newlines, which renders the protections against CVE-2020-5260 incomplete for credential helpers that treat Carriage Returns in this way. This issue has been addressed in commit `b01b9b8` which is included in release versions v2.48.1, v2.47.2, v2.46.3, v2.45.3, v2.44.3, v2.43.6, v2.42.4, v2.41.3, and v2.40.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid cloning from untrusted URLs, especially recursive clones. | ||||
| CVE-2024-52005 | 2 Git, Redhat | 4 Git, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-12-18 | 8.8 High |
| Git is a source code management tool. When cloning from a server (or fetching, or pushing), informational or error messages are transported from the remote Git process to the client via the so-called "sideband channel". These messages will be prefixed with "remote:" and printed directly to the standard error output. Typically, this standard error output is connected to a terminal that understands ANSI escape sequences, which Git did not protect against. Most modern terminals support control sequences that can be used by a malicious actor to hide and misrepresent information, or to mislead the user into executing untrusted scripts. As requested on the git-security mailing list, the patches are under discussion on the public mailing list. Users are advised to update as soon as possible. Users unable to upgrade should avoid recursive clones unless they are from trusted sources. | ||||
