| A carefully crafted request when creating a header link using the
wiki markup syntax, which could allow the attacker to execute javascript
in the victim's browser and get some sensitive information about the
victim.
Further research by the JSPWiki team showed that the markdown parser allowed this kind of attack too.
Apache JSPWiki users should upgrade to 2.12.3 or later. |

| A vulnerability has been identified in Node.js, specifically affecting the handling of drive names in the Windows environment. Certain Node.js functions do not treat drive names as special on Windows. As a result, although Node.js assumes a relative path, it actually refers to the root directory.
On Windows, a path that does not start with the file separator is treated as relative to the current directory.
This vulnerability affects Windows users of `path.join` API. |

This vulnerability is present only in the distribution package (SpringBoot platform) and does not involve Maven artifacts.
It can only be exploited after a user has successfully logged into the platform (implying that the attacker would first need to compromise the login authentication).
As a result, the associated risk is considered relatively low. |
| Insufficient escaping of user-supplied data in mod_ssl in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.63 and earlier allows an untrusted SSL/TLS client to insert escape characters into log files in some configurations.
In a logging configuration where CustomLog is used with "%{varname}x" or "%{varname}c" to log variables provided by mod_ssl such as SSL_TLS_SNI, no escaping is performed by either mod_log_config or mod_ssl and unsanitized data provided by the client may appear in log files. |
| CUPS is a standards-based, open-source printing system, and `cups-browsed` contains network printing functionality including, but not limited to, auto-discovering print services and shared printers. `cups-browsed` binds to `INADDR_ANY:631`, causing it to trust any packet from any source, and can cause the `Get-Printer-Attributes` IPP request to an attacker controlled URL. When combined with other vulnerabilities, such as CVE-2024-47076, CVE-2024-47175, and CVE-2024-47177, an attacker can execute arbitrary commands remotely on the target machine without authentication when a malicious printer is printed to. |

The server offers limited protection against administrators directing the server to open UNC paths.
Windows servers should limit the hosts they will connect over via SMB based on the nature of NTLM authentication. |
