| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform.In affected versions missing validation in `NoteCreateService.insertNote`, `ApPersonService.createPerson`, and `ApPersonService.updatePerson` allows an attacker to control the target of any "origin" links (such as the "view on remote instance" banner). Any HTTPS URL can be set, even if it belongs to a different domain than the note / user. Vulnerable Misskey instances will use the unverified URL for several clickable links, allowing an attacker to conduct phishing or other attacks against remote users. This issue has been addressed in version 2024.11.0-alpha.3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. In affected versions missing validation in `ApInboxService.update` allows an attacker to modify the result of polls belonging to another user. No authentication is required, except for a valid signature from any actor on any remote instance. Vulnerable Misskey instances will accept spoofed updates for remote polls. Local polls are unaffected. This issue has been addressed in version 2024.11.0-alpha.3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. Some APIs using `HttpRequestService` do not properly check the target host. This vulnerability allows an attacker to send POST or GET requests to the internal server, which may result in a SSRF attack.It allows an attacker to send POST or GET requests (with some controllable URL parameters) to private IPs, enabling further attacks on internal servers. This issue has been addressed in version 2024.11.0-alpha.3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. Starting in version 12.109.0 and prior to version 2025.2.0-alpha.0, due to a lack of CSRF protection and the lack of proper security attributes in the authentication cookies of Bull's dashboard, some of the APIs of bull-board may be subject to CSRF attacks. There is a risk of this vulnerability being used for attacks with relatively large impact on availability and integrity, such as the ability to add arbitrary jobs. This vulnerability was fixed in 2025.2.0-alpha.0. As a workaround, block all access to the `/queue` directory with a web application firewall (WAF). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: Fix error code in iwl_op_mode_dvm_start()
Preserve the error code if iwl_setup_deferred_work() fails. The current
code returns ERR_PTR(0) (which is NULL) on this path. I believe the
missing error code potentially leads to a use after free involving
debugfs. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: canaan: k230: add NULL check in DT parse
Add a NULL check for the return value of of_get_property() when
retrieving the "pinmux" property in the group parser. This avoids
a potential NULL pointer dereference if the property is missing
from the device tree node.
Also fix a typo ("sintenel") in the device ID match table comment,
correcting it to "sentinel". |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: canaan: k230: Fix order of DT parse and pinctrl register
Move DT parse before pinctrl register. This ensures that device tree
parsing is done before calling devm_pinctrl_register() to prevent using
uninitialized pin resources. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
landlock: Fix warning from KUnit tests
get_id_range() expects a positive value as first argument but
get_random_u8() can return 0. Fix this by clamping it.
Validated by running the test in a for loop for 1000 times.
Note that MAX() is wrong as it is only supposed to be used for
constants, but max() is good here.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: dts: qcom: qcs615: fix a crash issue caused by infinite loop for Coresight
An infinite loop has been created by the Coresight devices. When only a
source device is enabled, the coresight_find_activated_sysfs_sink function
is recursively invoked in an attempt to locate an active sink device,
ultimately leading to a stack overflow and system crash. Therefore, disable
the replicator1 to break the infinite loop and prevent a potential stack
overflow.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
spi: stm32: Check for cfg availability in stm32_spi_probe
The stm32_spi_probe function now includes a check to ensure that the
pointer returned by of_device_get_match_data is not NULL before
accessing its members. This resolves a warning where a potential NULL
pointer dereference could occur when accessing cfg->has_device_mode.
Before accessing the 'has_device_mode' member, we verify that 'cfg' is
not NULL. If 'cfg' is NULL, an error message is logged.
This change ensures that the driver does not attempt to access
configuration data if it is not available, thus preventing a potential
system crash due to a NULL pointer dereference. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mmc: vub300: fix return value check of mmc_add_host()
mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory
that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel
crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path.
So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call
mmc_free_host(), besides, the timer added before mmc_add_host() needs be del.
And this patch fixes another missing call mmc_free_host() if usb_control_msg()
fails. |

| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. In affected versions missing validation in `ApRequestService.signedGet` and `HttpRequestService.getActivityJson` allows an attacker to create fake user profiles and forged notes. The spoofed users will appear to be from a different instance than the one where they actually exist, and the forged notes will appear to be posted by a different user. Vulnerable Misskey instances will accept the spoofed objects as valid, allowing an attacker to impersonate other users and instances. The attacker retains full control of the spoofed user / note and can interact like a real account. This issue has been addressed in version 2024.11.0-alpha.3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Kirby is an open-source content management system. From versions 5.0.0 to 5.1.3, attackers could change the title of any page or the name of any user to a malicious string. Then they could modify any content field of the same model without saving, making the model a candidate for display in the "Changes" dialog. If another authenticated user subsequently opened the dialog in their Panel, the malicious code would be executed. This vulnerability affects all Kirby 5 sites that might have potential attackers in the group of authenticated Panel users or that allow external visitors to update page titles or usernames. The attack requires user interaction by another Panel user and cannot be automated. This issue has been patched in version 5.1.4. |
| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. The patch for CVE-2024-52591 did not sufficiently validate the relation between the `id` and `url` fields of ActivityPub objects. An attacker can forge an object where they claim authority in the `url` field even if the specific ActivityPub object type require authority in the `id` field. Version 2025.2.1 addresses the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/smaps: fix race between smaps_hugetlb_range and migration
smaps_hugetlb_range() handles the pte without holdling ptl, and may be
concurrenct with migration, leaing to BUG_ON in pfn_swap_entry_to_page().
The race is as follows.

To fix it, hold ptl lock in smaps_hugetlb_range(). |
| grist-core is a spreadsheet hosting server. Prior to version 1.7.7, a user with access to any document on a Grist installation can use a feature for fetching from a URL that is executed on the server. The privileged network access of server-side requests could offer opportunities for attack escalation. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.7. The mitigation was to use the proxy for untrusted fetches intended for such purposes. As a workaround, avoid making http/https endpoints available to an instance running Grist that expose credentials or operate without credentials. |
