CVSS v3.1 |
| Due to a regression introduced in version 3.83.0, a security header is no longer applied to certain user-uploaded content served from repositories. This may allow an authenticated attacker with repository upload privileges to exploit a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability with user context. |
| Inside Track / Entropy Derby is a research-grade horse-racing betting engine. Prior to commit 2d38d2f, the VDF-based timelock encryption system fails to enforce sequential delay against the betting operator. Bettors pre-compute the entire Wesolowski VDF and include vdfOutputHex in their encrypted bet ticket, allowing the house to decrypt immediately using fast proof verification instead of expensive VDF evaluation. This issue has been patched via commit 2d38d2f. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dmaengine: ptdma: check for null desc before calling pt_cmd_callback
Resolves a panic that can occur on AMD systems, typically during host
shutdown, after the PTDMA driver had been exercised. The issue was
the pt_issue_pending() function is mistakenly assuming that there will
be at least one descriptor in the Submitted queue when the function
is called. However, it is possible that both the Submitted and Issued
queues could be empty, which could result in pt_cmd_callback() being
mistakenly called with a NULL pointer.
Ref: Bugzilla Bug 216856. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: lpfc: Fix ioremap issues in lpfc_sli4_pci_mem_setup()
When if_type equals zero and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4)
returns false, drbl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This passes a NULL
pointer to iounmap(), which can trigger a WARN() on certain arches.
When if_type equals six and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4)
returns true, drbl_regs_memmap_p may has been remapped and
ctrl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This is a resource leak and passes a
NULL pointer to iounmap().
To fix these issues, we need to add null checks before iounmap(), and
change some goto labels. |
| The Melapress Login Security plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass due to missing authorization within the get_valid_user_based_on_token() function in versions 2.1.0 to 2.1.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who know an arbitrary user meta value to bypass authentication checks and log in as that user. |
| An Execution with Unnecessary Privileges vulnerability has been identified in Moxa’s network security appliances and routers. A flaw in the API authorization logic of the affected device allows an authenticated, low-privileged user to execute the administrative `ping` function, which is restricted to higher-privileged roles. This vulnerability enables the user to perform internal network reconnaissance, potentially discovering internal hosts or services that would otherwise be inaccessible. Repeated exploitation could lead to minor resource consumption. While the overall impact is limited, it may result in some loss of confidentiality and availability on the affected device. There is no impact on the integrity of the device, and the vulnerability does not affect any subsequent systems. |
| An Incorrect Authorization vulnerability has been identified in Moxa’s network security appliances and routers. A flaw in the API authentication mechanism allows unauthorized access to protected API endpoints, including those intended for administrative functions. This vulnerability can be exploited after a legitimate user has logged in, as the system fails to properly validate session context or privilege boundaries. An attacker may leverage this flaw to perform unauthorized privileged operations. While successful exploitation can severely impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device itself, there is no loss of confidentiality or integrity within any subsequent systems. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/vfio-ap: fix memory leak in vfio_ap device driver
The device release callback function invoked to release the matrix device
uses the dev_get_drvdata(device *dev) function to retrieve the
pointer to the vfio_matrix_dev object in order to free its storage. The
problem is, this object is not stored as drvdata with the device; since the
kfree function will accept a NULL pointer, the memory for the
vfio_matrix_dev object is never freed.
Since the device being released is contained within the vfio_matrix_dev
object, the container_of macro will be used to retrieve its pointer. |
| In ESPEC North America Web Controller 3 before 3.3.4, /api/v4/auth/ with any invalid authentication request results in exposing a JWT secret. This allows for elevated permissions to the UI. |
| The devices do not implement any authentication for the web interface or the MQTT server. An attacker who has network access to the device immediately gets administrative access to the devices and can perform arbitrary administrative actions and reconfigure the devices or potentially gain access to sensitive data. |
| Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in Meow Apps Media File Renamer allows Using Malicious Files. This issue affects Media File Renamer: from n/a through 5.7.7. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in KlbTheme Machic Core allows DOM-Based XSS.This issue affects Machic Core: from n/a through 1.2.6. |
| Improper handling of direct memory writes in the input-output memory management unit could allow a malicious guest virtual machine (VM) to flood a host with writes, potentially causing a fatal machine check error resulting in denial of service. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Conjure Position Department Service Quality Evaluation System up to 1.0.11. Affected by this issue is the function eval of the file public/assets/less/bootstrap-less/mixins/head.php. The manipulation of the argument payload leads to backdoor. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| The WooCommerce Square plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.1 via the get_token_by_id function due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to expose arbitrary Square "ccof" (credit card on file) values and leverage this value to potentially make fraudulent charges on the target site. |
| The Booking X plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the export_now() function in versions 1.0 to 1.1.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to download all plugin data, including user accounts, user meta, and PayPal credentials, by issuing a crafted POST request. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the 'conn-indicator' binary running as root on the TP-Link Archer AX50 router, in firmware versions prior to 1.0.15 build 241203 rel61480. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the device over LAN and WAN networks. |
| A flaw was found in ActiveMQ Artemis. The password generated by activemq-artemis-operator does not regenerate between separated CR dependencies. |
| httpTokenCacheKey uses path.Base to extract the expected HTTP-01 token value to lookup in the DirCache implementation. On Windows, path.Base acts differently to filepath.Base, since Windows uses a different path separator (\ vs. /), allowing a user to provide a relative path, i.e. .well-known/acme-challenge/..\..\asd becomes ..\..\asd. The extracted path is then suffixed with +http-01, joined with the cache directory, and opened. Since the controlled path is suffixed with +http-01 before opening, the impact of this is significantly limited, since it only allows reading arbitrary files on the system if and only if they have this suffix. |
| Securing externally available CAN wires can easily allow physical access to the CAN bus, allowing possible injection of specially formed CAN messages to control remote start functions of the vehicle. Testing completed on Tesla Model 3 vehicles with software version v11.1 (2023.20.9 ee6de92ddac5). This issue affects Model 3: With software versions from 2023.Xx before 2023.44. |
