CVSS v3.1 |
LibreOffice converts CFF fonts to Type 1 when it subsets a font, which happens when a document is exported to PDF, and CFF fonts may be embedded in documents. A stack buffer overflow existed in that conversion. The converted operators were written into a fixed size buffer with no check that they still fit, so a glyph emitting many operators wrote past the end of the buffer. In fixed versions the remaining capacity is tracked and the conversion stops when it is used up.
Memory corruption when processing escape handling flow with insufficient user buffer sizes.
There is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in DASYLab due to lack of proper validation of user-supplied data. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted .DSB file. This issue affects all versions before 2026.0.0.
There is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in DASYLab due to improper validation of user-supplied data, resulting in a write past the end of an allocated heap. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted .DSB file. This issue affects all versions before 2026.0.0.
There is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in DASYLab due to improper validation of user-supplied data, resulting in a write past the end of an allocated data structure. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted .DSB file. This issue affects all versions before 2026.0.0.
OpenJPEG through 2.3.1 has a heap-based buffer overflow in opj_t1_clbl_decode_processor in openjp2/t1.c because of lack of opj_j2k_update_image_dimensions validation.
Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in RTI Connext Professional (Queueing Service,Core Libraries,Persistence Service) allows Overflow Buffers. This issue affects Connext Professional: from 7.4.0 before 7.7.0, from 7.0.0 before 7.3.1.3, from 6.1.0 before 6.1.*.
Out-of-bounds Read, Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in RTI Connext Professional (Recording Service) allows Overflow Buffers, Overread Buffers. This issue affects Connext Professional: from 7.4.0 before 7.5.0, from 7.0.0 before 7.3.0.7, from 6.1.0 before 6.1.2.23, from 6.0.0 before 6.0.1.42.
Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in RTI Connext Professional (Core Libraries) allows Overflow Variables and Tags. This issue affects Connext Professional: from 7.4.0 before 7.5.0, from 7.0.0 before 7.3.0.7, from 6.1.0 before 6.1.2.23, from 6.0.0 before 6.0.1.42, from 5.3.0 before 5.3.*, from 5.2.0 before 5.2.*, from 4.4d before 5.1.*.
Exim before 4.100.1, when Proxy-Protocol is used with an attacker-controlled proxy, has an out-of-bounds write.
Out-of-bounds write in Windows Spaceport.sys allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally.
A stack out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in gfs2-utils. In savemeta, the height value from on-disk inode metadata is used as a loop bound without bounds checking, causing a stack buffer overflow that may lead to arbitrary code execution when processing crafted GFS2 filesystem images.
A stack out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in gfs2-utils. In gfs2_edit, the di_height field from on-disk inode metadata is used as an array index without bounds checking, causing a stack buffer overflow that may lead to arbitrary code execution when processing crafted GFS2 filesystem images.
A weakness has been identified in vgmstream up to r2117. Impacted is the function vadpcm_read_coefs_be of the file src/coding/vadpcm_decoder.c of the component EA SCHl parser. This manipulation of the argument entry/entries causes out-of-bounds write. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. Patch name: ae37662ad626254ddd96ad69ac263792d7a92024. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue.
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Prior to 1.23.2, when WITH_UNCOMPRESSED_CODEC is enabled, heif_context_add_image_tile() accepts an independently constructed tile whose component-plane dimensions do not match the tile geometry established by the prototype image. ImageItem_uncompressed::add_image_tile() passes that tile directly to unc_encoder::encode_tile(), which lacked the check_component_sizes() gate and sizes its output from the configured tile geometry while copying the tile's actual component-plane dimensions. An oversized component plane can therefore make unc_encoder_component_interleave::encode_tile() copy attacker-controlled data beyond the heap output buffer. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.2.
A flaw was found in the ZBar barcode reader library. A heap-buffer-overflow write of one byte occurs when processing Structured-Append QR codes where the buffer size calculation does not account for NUL separator bytes inserted between decoded segments. An attacker could exploit this by crafting a QR code image that, when scanned by an application using zbar, causes heap corruption leading to a denial of service (application crash).
Incorrect boundary conditions in the DOM: Animation component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156 and Thunderbird 156.
snappy-java through 1.1.10.8 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in typed Snappy.uncompress*Array methods that allocate output arrays by dividing uncompressed length by element size but pass the undivided length to native code. Attackers controlling compressed input can cause misaligned length values to write past array bounds with attacker-controlled bytes, corrupting heap memory.
An out-of-bounds write flaw was found in usbredir. Starting an isochronous OUT stream with a transfer count of 1 leaves the stream's single transfer buffer permanently unsubmitted, defeating the bounds check in usbredirhost_iso_packet() and allowing a usbredir peer to write past the end of the packet descriptor array on every subsequent isochronous packet.
PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.17 and earlier, the PJSIP AVI parser in pjmedia/src/pjmedia/avi_player.c uses an input-file video chunk length as the number of bytes copied into a frame buffer whose capacity is derived from the declared media dimensions. A crafted AVI file can therefore cause an attacker-controlled out-of-bounds write past the heap allocation when an application plays the file or pulls its frames. The existing size assertion does not protect production release builds, where assertions are disabled. Typical local playback can crash the process, while applications that accept untrusted AVI sources expose a stronger memory-corruption condition. No fixed version is available as of this review.
