It complains about acquiring a local_lock while holding a raw_spin_lock.
It means it should not allocate memory while holding a raw_spin_lock
since it is not safe for RT.
raw_spin_lock is needed because bpf_local_storage supports tracing
context. In particular for task local storage, it is easy to
get a "current" task PTR_TO_BTF_ID in tracing bpf prog.
However, task (and cgroup) local storage has already been moved to
bpf mem allocator which can be used after raw_spin_lock.
The splat is for the sk storage. For sk (and inode) storage,
it has not been moved to bpf mem allocator. Using raw_spin_lock or not,
kzalloc(GFP_ATOMIC) could theoretically be unsafe in tracing context.
However, the local storage helper requires a verifier accepted
sk pointer (PTR_TO_BTF_ID), it is hypothetical if that (mean running
a bpf prog in a kzalloc unsafe context and also able to hold a verifier
accepted sk pointer) could happen.
This patch avoids kzalloc after raw_spin_lock to silent the splat.
There is an existing kzalloc before the raw_spin_lock. At that point,
a kzalloc is very likely required because a lookup has just been done
before. Thus, this patch always does the kzalloc before acq

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tty: serial: samsung_tty: Fix a memory leak in s3c24xx_serial_getclk() in case of error
If clk_get_rate() fails, the clk that has just been allocated needs to be
freed. |
| The Relais 2FA plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in versions up to, and including, 1.0. This is due to incorrect authentication and capability checking in the 'rl_do_ajax' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user on the site, such as an administrator, if they have access to the email. |
| A potential TOCTOU vulnerability was reported in PC Manager, Lenovo Browser, and Lenovo App Store that could allow a local attacker to cause a system crash. |
| A potential buffer overflow vulnerability was reported in PC Manager, Lenovo Browser, and Lenovo App Store that could allow a local attacker to cause a system crash. |
| The The Drop Shadow Boxes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.14. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. |
| On IROAD X5 devices, a Bypass of Device Pairing can occur via MAC Address Spoofing. The dashcam's pairing mechanism relies solely on MAC address verification, allowing an attacker to bypass authentication by spoofing an already-paired MAC address that can be captured via an ARP scan. |
| On IROAD v9 devices, one can Remotely Dump Video Footage and the Live Video Stream. The dashcam exposes endpoints that allow unauthorized users, who gained access through other means, to list and download recorded videos, as well as access live video streams without proper authentication. |
| In Helix Core versions prior to 2024.2, an unauthenticated remote Denial of Service (DoS) via the auto-generation function was identified. Reported by Karol Więsek. |
| In Gliffy Online an insecure configuration was discovered in versions before 4.14.0-6. Reported by Alpha Inferno PVT LTD. |
| A vulnerability in Okta Verify for iOS versions 9.25.1 (beta) and 9.27.0 (including beta) allows push notification responses through the iOS ContextExtension feature allowing the authentication to proceed regardless of the user’s selection. When a user long-presses the notification banner and selects an option, both options allow the authentication to succeed.
The ContextExtension feature is one of several push mechanisms available when using Okta Verify Push on iOS devices. The vulnerable flows include:
* When a user is presented with a notification on a locked screen, the user presses on the notification directly and selects their reply without unlocking the device;
* When a user is presented with a notification on the home screen and drags the notification down and selects their reply;
* When an Apple Watch is used to reply directly to a notification.
A pre-condition for this vulnerability is that the user must have enrolled in Okta Verify while the Okta customer was using Okta Classic. This applies irrespective of whether the organization has since upgraded to Okta Identity Engine. |
| A Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability has been found in Janto v4.3r11 from Impronta. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute JavaScript code in the victim's browser by sending the victim a malicious URL using the endpoint “/abonados/public/janto/main.php”. |
| In Helix Core versions prior to 2024.2, an unauthenticated remote Denial of Service (DoS) via the refuse function was identified. Reported by Karol Więsek. |
| In Helix Core versions prior to 2024.2, an unauthenticated remote Denial of Service (DoS) via the shutdown function was identified. Reported by Karol Więsek. |
| The Clever Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1 via the getTemplateContent function in src/widgets/class-clever-widget-base.php. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to extract sensitive private, pending, and draft template data. |
| Ticket management system in DirectAdmin Evolution Skin is vulnerable to XSS (Cross-site Scripting), which allows a low-privileged user to inject and store malicious JavaScript code.
If an admin views the ticket, the script might perform actions with their privileges, including command execution.
This issue has been fixed in version 1.668 of DirectAdmin Evolution Skin. |
| The Elfsight Telegram Chat CC plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data to a missing capability check on the 'updatePreferences' function in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The WPC Smart Messages for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.1 via the get_condition_value function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. |
| The WikiCategoryTagCloud extension is vulnerable to reflected XSS via the linkstyle attribute, which is improperly concatenated into inline HTML without escaping. An attacker can inject JavaScript event handlers such as onmouseenter using carefully crafted input via the {{#tag:tagcloud}} parser function, resulting in arbitrary JavaScript execution when a victim hovers over a link in the category cloud.
The vulnerability exists because the linkstyle parameter is only passed through Sanitizer::checkCss() (which does not escape HTML) and is then directly inserted into a style attribute using string concatenation instead of Html::element or Html::openElement.
This issue affects Mediawiki - WikiCategoryTagCloud extension: from 1.39.X before 1.39.13, from 1.42.X before 1.42.7, from 1.43.X before 1.43.2. |
| Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master versions prior to 1.0.12 are affected by a deserialization vulnerability that targets the Device-Gateway, which could allow deserialization of arbitrary .NET objects prior to authentication. |
