CVSS v3.1 |
| WebMO Job Manager 20.0 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in search parameters that allows remote attackers to inject malicious script code. Attackers can exploit the filterSearch and filterSearchType parameters to perform non-persistent attacks including session hijacking and external redirects. |
| Free Photo & Video Vault 0.0.2 contains a directory traversal web vulnerability that allows remote attackers to manipulate application path requests and access sensitive system files. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability without privileges to retrieve environment variables and access unauthorized system paths. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Select-Themes Stockholm Core stockholm-core allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Stockholm Core: from n/a through <= 2.4.6. |
| A path traversal vulnerability exists in RIPS Scanner version 0.54. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the system with the privileges of the web server by sending crafted HTTP GET requests to the 'windows/code.php' script with a manipulated 'file' parameter. This can lead to disclosure of sensitive information. |
| KissFFT versions prior to the fix commit 1b083165 contain an integer overflow in kiss_fft_alloc() in kiss_fft.c on platforms where size_t is 32-bit. The nfft parameter is not validated before being used in a size calculation (sizeof(kiss_fft_cpx) * (nfft - 1)), which can wrap to a small value when nfft is large. As a result, malloc() allocates an undersized buffer and the subsequent twiddle-factor initialization loop writes nfft elements, causing a heap buffer overflow. This vulnerability only affects 32-bit architectures. |
| The Limit Login Attempts (Spam Protection) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to IP Address Spoofing in versions up to, and including, 5.3. This is due to insufficient restrictions on where the IP Address information is being retrieved for request logging and login restrictions. Attackers can supply the X-Forwarded-For header with with a different IP Address that will be logged and can be used to bypass settings that may have blocked out an IP address or country from logging in. |
| The AdRotate Banner Manager – The only ad manager you'll need plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file extension sanitization in the adrotate_insert_media() function in all versions up to, and including, 5.13.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files with double extensions on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. This is only exploitable on select instances where the configuration will execute the first extension present. |
| ALTCHA is privacy-first software for captcha and bot protection. A cryptographic semantic binding flaw in ALTCHA libraries allows challenge payload splicing, which may enable replay attacks. The HMAC signature does not unambiguously bind challenge parameters to the nonce, allowing an attacker to reinterpret a valid proof-of-work submission with a modified expiration value. This may allow previously solved challenges to be reused beyond their intended lifetime, depending on server-side replay handling and deployment assumptions. The vulnerability primarily impacts abuse-prevention mechanisms such as rate limiting and bot mitigation. It does not directly affect data confidentiality or integrity. This issue has been addressed by enforcing explicit semantic separation between challenge parameters and the nonce during HMAC computation. Users are advised to upgrade to patched versions, which include version 1.0.0 of the altcha Golang package, version 1.0.0 of the altcha Rubygem, version 1.0.0 of the altcha pip package, version 1.0.0 of the altcha Erlang package, version 1.4.1 of the altcha-lib npm package, version 1.3.1 of the altcha-org/altcha Composer package, and version 1.3.0 of the org.altcha:altcha Maven package. As a mitigation, implementations may append a delimiter to the end of the `salt` value prior to HMAC computation (for example, `<salt>?expires=<time>&`). This prevents ambiguity between parameters and the nonce and is backward-compatible with existing implementations, as the delimiter is treated as a standard URL parameter separator. |
| tRPC allows users to build and consume fully typesafe APIs without schemas or code generation. Starting in version 10.27.0 and prior to versions 10.45.3 and 11.8.0, a A prototype pollution vulnerability exists in `@trpc/server`'s `formDataToObject` function, which is used by the Next.js App Router adapter. An attacker can pollute `Object.prototype` by submitting specially crafted FormData field names, potentially leading to authorization bypass, denial of service, or other security impacts. Note that this vulnerability is only present when using `experimental_caller` / `experimental_nextAppDirCaller`. Versions 10.45.3 and 11.8.0 fix the issue. |
| The Skitter Slideshow plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.2 via the /image.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services. |
| A vulnerability in a debug function for Cisco RCM for Cisco StarOS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to perform debug actions that could result in the disclosure of confidential information that should be restricted.
This vulnerability exists because of a debug service that incorrectly listens to and accepts incoming connections. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the debug port and executing debug commands. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to view sensitive debugging information.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in Cisco RCM for Cisco StarOS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to perform remote code execution on the application with root-level privileges in the context of the configured container.
This vulnerability exists because the debug mode is incorrectly enabled for specific services. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the device and navigating to the service with debug mode enabled. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the root user.
The attacker would need to perform detailed reconnaissance to allow for unauthenticated access. The vulnerability can also be exploited by an authenticated attacker.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface and in the API subsystem of Cisco Tetration could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands to be executed with root-level privileges on the underlying operating system.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted HTTP message to the affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands with root-level privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid administrator-level credentials.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in the implementation of the CLI on a device that is running ConfD could allow an authenticated, local attacker to perform a command injection attack.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of a process argument on an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting commands during the execution of this process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with the privilege level of ConfD, which is commonly root. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
jfs: fix uninitialized waitqueue in transaction manager
The transaction manager initialization in txInit() was not properly
initializing TxBlock[0].waitor waitqueue, causing a crash when
txEnd(0) is called on read-only filesystems.
When a filesystem is mounted read-only, txBegin() returns tid=0 to
indicate no transaction. However, txEnd(0) still gets called and
tries to access TxBlock[0].waitor via tid_to_tblock(0), but this
waitqueue was never initialized because the initialization loop
started at index 1 instead of 0.
This causes a 'non-static key' lockdep warning and system crash:
INFO: trying to register non-static key in txEnd
Fix by ensuring all transaction blocks including TxBlock[0] have
their waitqueues properly initialized during txInit(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netpoll: Fix deadlock in memory allocation under spinlock
Fix a AA deadlock in refill_skbs() where memory allocation while holding
skb_pool->lock can trigger a recursive lock acquisition attempt.
The deadlock scenario occurs when the system is under severe memory
pressure:
1. refill_skbs() acquires skb_pool->lock (spinlock)
2. alloc_skb() is called while holding the lock
3. Memory allocator fails and calls slab_out_of_memory()
4. This triggers printk() for the OOM warning
5. The console output path calls netpoll_send_udp()
6. netpoll_send_udp() attempts to acquire the same skb_pool->lock
7. Deadlock: the lock is already held by the same CPU
Call stack:
refill_skbs()
spin_lock_irqsave(&skb_pool->lock) <- lock acquired
__alloc_skb()
kmem_cache_alloc_node_noprof()
slab_out_of_memory()
printk()
console_flush_all()
netpoll_send_udp()
skb_dequeue()
spin_lock_irqsave(&skb_pool->lock) <- deadlock attempt
This bug was exposed by commit 248f6571fd4c51 ("netpoll: Optimize skb
refilling on critical path") which removed refill_skbs() from the
critical path (where nested printk was being deferred), letting nested
printk being called from inside refill_skbs()
Refactor refill_skbs() to never allocate memory while holding
the spinlock.
Another possible solution to fix this problem is protecting the
refill_skbs() from nested printks, basically calling
printk_deferred_{enter,exit}() in refill_skbs(), then, any nested
pr_warn() would be deferred.
I prefer this approach, given I _think_ it might be a good idea to move
the alloc_skb() from GFP_ATOMIC to GFP_KERNEL in the future, so, having
the alloc_skb() outside of the lock will be necessary step.
There is a possible TOCTOU issue when checking for the pool length, and
queueing the new allocated skb, but, this is not an issue, given that
an extra SKB in the pool is harmless and it will be eventually used. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/fpu: Ensure XFD state on signal delivery
Sean reported [1] the following splat when running KVM tests:
WARNING: CPU: 232 PID: 15391 at xfd_validate_state+0x65/0x70
Call Trace:
<TASK>
fpu__clear_user_states+0x9c/0x100

do_syscall_64+0x205/0x2c0
entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53
Chao further identified [2] a reproducible scenario involving signal
delivery: a non-AMX task is preempted by an AMX-enabled task which
modifies the XFD MSR.
When the non-AMX task resumes and reloads XSTATE with init values,
a warning is triggered due to a mismatch between fpstate::xfd and the
CPU's current XFD state. fpu__clear_user_states() does not currently
re-synchronize the XFD state after such preemption.
Invoke xfd_update_state() which detects and corrects the mismatch if
there is a dynamic feature.
This also benefits the sigreturn path, as fpu__restore_sig() may call
fpu__clear_user_states() when the sigframe is inaccessible.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ftrace: Fix softlockup in ftrace_module_enable
A soft lockup was observed when loading amdgpu module.
If a module has a lot of tracable functions, multiple calls
to kallsyms_lookup can spend too much time in RCU critical
section and with disabled preemption, causing kernel panic.
This is the same issue that was fixed in
commit d0b24b4e91fc ("ftrace: Prevent RCU stall on PREEMPT_VOLUNTARY
kernels") and commit 42ea22e754ba ("ftrace: Add cond_resched() to
ftrace_graph_set_hash()").
Fix it the same way by adding cond_resched() in ftrace_module_enable. |
| A vulnerability in the Cisco Discovery Protocol functionality of Cisco ATA 190 Series Adaptive Telephone Adapter firmware could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to an out-of-bounds read when processing Cisco Discovery Protocol packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted Cisco Discovery Protocol packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a service restart.Cisco has released firmware updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in the TL1 function of Cisco Network Convergence System (NCS) 4000 Series could allow an authenticated, local attacker to cause a memory leak in the TL1 process.
This vulnerability is due to TL1 not freeing memory under some conditions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the device and issuing TL1 commands after being authenticated. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the TL1 process to consume large amounts of memory. When the memory reaches a threshold, the Resource Monitor (Resmon) process will begin to restart or shutdown the top five consumers of memory, resulting in a denial of service (DoS).Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.This advisory is part of the September 2022 release of the Cisco IOS XR Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication.
