Projects using the SUSE Virtualization (Harvester) environment may expose the OS default ssh login password if they are using the 1.5.x or 1.6.x interactive installer to either create a new cluster or add new hosts to an existing cluster. The environment is not affected if the PXE boot mechanism is utilized along with the Harvester configuration setup.
Rollbar.js offers error tracking and logging from Javascript to Rollbar. In versions before 2.26.5 and from 3.0.0-alpha1 to before 3.0.0-beta5, there is a prototype pollution vulnerability in merge(). If application code calls rollbar.configure() with untrusted input, prototype pollution is possible. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.26.5 and 3.0.0-beta5. A workaround involves ensuring that values passed to rollbar.configure() do not contain untrusted input.
Certain models of ASUS routers have buffer overflow vulnerabilities, allowing remote attackers with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary commands on the device.
An issue in Vehicle Management System 7.31.0.3_20230412 allows an attacker to escalate privileges via the login.html component.
A potential buffer overflow vulnerability was reported in some Lenovo Notebook products that could allow a local attacker with elevated privileges to execute arbitrary code.
| IO-1020 Micro ELD web server uses a default password for authentication.
|
KV STUDIO versions 12.23 and prior contain a buffer underflow vulnerability. If the product uses a specially crafted file, arbitrary code may be executed on the affected product.
A heap-based buffer over-read vulnerability was found in the X.org server's ProcXIGetSelectedEvents() function. This issue occurs when byte-swapped length values are used in replies, potentially leading to memory leakage and segmentation faults, particularly when triggered by a client with a different endianness. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to cause the X server to read heap memory values and then transmit them back to the client until encountering an unmapped page, resulting in a crash. Despite the attacker's inability to control the specific memory copied into the replies, the small length values typically stored in a 32-bit integer can result in significant attempted out-of-bounds reads.
A heap-based buffer over-read vulnerability was found in the X.org server's ProcXIPassiveGrabDevice() function.
| A heap-based buffer over-read vulnerability was found in the X.org server's ProcAppleDRICreatePixmap() function. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to cause the X server to read heap memory values and then transmit them back to the client until encountering an unmapped page, resulting in a crash. | HTTP.jl is an HTTP client and server functionality for the Julia programming language. Prior to version 1.10.19, HTTP.jl did not validate header names/values for illegal characters, allowing CRLF-based header injection and response splitting. This enables HTTP response splitting and header injection, leading to cache poisoning, XSS, session fixation, and more. This issue is fixed in HTTP.jl `v1.10.19`. |
Out-of-bounds read for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
ASUS Download Master has a buffer overflow vulnerability. An unauthenticated remote attacker with administrative privileges can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary system commands on the device.
get-jwks contains fetch utils for JWKS keys. In versions prior to 11.0.2, a vulnerability in get-jwks can lead to cache poisoning in the JWKS key-fetching mechanism. When the iss (issuer) claim is validated only after keys are retrieved from the cache, it is possible for cached keys from an unexpected issuer to be reused, resulting in a bypass of issuer validation. This design flaw enables a potential attack where a malicious actor crafts a pair of JWTs, the first one ensuring that a chosen public key is fetched and stored in the shared JWKS cache, and the second one leveraging that cached key to pass signature validation for a targeted iss value. The vulnerability will work only if the iss validation is done after the use of get-jwks for keys retrieval. This issue has been patched in version 11.0.2.
In Artifex GhostXPS before 10.06.0, there is a stack-based buffer overflow in xps_unpredict_tiff in xpstiff.c because the samplesperpixel value is not checked.
NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in a video decoder, where an attacker might cause an out-of-bounds read. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure or denial of service.
DMitry (Deepmagic Information Gathering Tool) 1.3a has a format-string vulnerability, with a threat model similar to CVE-2017-7938.
A key used in logging.json does not follow the least privilege principle by default and is exposed to local users in the Rapid7 Platform. This allows an attacker with local access to a machine with the logging.json file to use that key to authenticate to the platform with high privileges. This was fixed in the Rapid7 platform starting 3 April 2024 via the introduction of a restricted role and the removal of automatic API key generation on installation of an agent.
A vulnerability on Mitel 6800 Series and 6900 Series SIP Phones through 6.3 SP3 HF4, 6900w Series SIP Phone through 6.3.3, and 6970 Conference Unit through 5.1.1 SP8 allows an authenticated attacker to conduct a buffer overflow attack due to insufficient bounds checking and input sanitization. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to gain access to sensitive information, modify system configuration or execute arbitrary commands within the context of the system.
The dormakaba registration units 9002 (PIN Pad Units) have an exposed UART header on the backside. The PIN pad is sending every button press to the UART interface. An attacker can use the interface to exfiltrate PINs. As the devices are explicitly built as Plug-and-Play to be easily replaced, an attacker is easily able to remove the device, install a hardware implant which connects to the UART and exfiltrates the data exposed via UART to another system (e.g. via WiFi).
