CVE-2026-46555 1 Verygoodplugins 2 Whatsapp-mcp, Whatsapp Mcp Server 2026-08-18 7.7 High
WhatsApp MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for WhatsApp, enabling Claude to read and send WhatsApp messages. Prior to version 0.2.1, the `whatsapp-bridge` HTTP API listens on `127.0.0.1:8080` without authentication and without Host header validation, and the `/api/send` endpoint accepts an absolute `media_path` parameter without confining it to a safe directory. Combined, these issues allow any local process running as the same user as the bridge to send WhatsApp messages from the paired account without authorization; the same caller to read arbitrary files readable by the user (e.g. SSH private keys, browser session data, source code, dotfiles) and exfiltrate them as WhatsApp document attachments; and/or a remote attacker to trigger the same operations via DNS rebinding from a webpage the user visits, since no Host header validation is performed. In MCP environments, "local caller" extends beyond processes the user explicitly launched — sibling MCP servers, IDE extensions, and tool-triggered flows running in the user's session can act as the effective caller. This issue is fixed in whatsapp-mcp v0.2.1 and corresponding Docker images / release artifacts. Users should upgrade immediately. The fix introduces bearer token authentication on the bridge HTTP API (configured via environment variable, required on all requests, validated with constant-time comparison); host header allow-list validation to prevent DNS rebinding; and confinement of `media_path` to a configured directory, with rejection of absolute paths outside the root and path traversal sequences. This is a breaking change for clients of the bridge API. For users who cannot immediately upgrade: Stop the bridge, or block loopback access to port 8080, when the bridge is not actively in use; avoid running the bridge alongside untrusted MCP servers, browser extensions, or other untrusted local processes; avoid browsing untrusted sites while the bridge is running (DNS rebinding mitigation); and/or run the bridge under a dedicated user account or in a sandbox/container with no access to sensitive files.
CVE-2026-4984 1 Botpress 1 Botpress 2026-08-18 8.2 High
The Twilio integration webhook handler accepts any POST request without validating Twilio's 'X-Twilio-Signature'. When processing media messages, it fetches user-controlled URLs ('MediaUrlN' parameters) using HTTP requests that include the integration's Twilio credentials in the 'Authorization' header. An attacker can forge a webhook payload pointing to their own server and receive the victim's 'accountSID' and 'authToken' in plaintext (base64-encoded Basic Auth), leading to full compromise of the Twilio account.
CVE-2026-9561 1 Eclipse 1 Kura 2026-08-18 8.2 High
Eclipse Kura versions prior to 5.6.2 trust the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For HTTP header as the authoritative source of the client IP address in audit log entries. The org.eclipse.kura.web2 (Web Console) and org.eclipse.kura.rest.provider (REST API) components use this header as the primary IP source when initializing audit context, and org.eclipse.kura.jetty.customizer unconditionally installs Jetty's ForwardedRequestCustomizer on all HTTP/HTTPS connectors, causing HttpServletRequest.getRemoteAddr() to reflect the attacker-controlled header value. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to bypass IP-based brute-force protections — such as fail2ban — by spoofing the logged IP address to a non-routable value, allowing a brute-force attack to proceed undetected, or to cause a denial of service against a third party by injecting a victim's IP address and triggering a ban on that address.
CVE-2026-43972 1 Ninenines 1 Gun 2026-08-18 7.2 High
Origin Validation Error vulnerability in ninenines gun (gun_http2 module) allows cross-origin cookie injection via unvalidated HTTP/2 PUSH_PROMISE authority. In gun_http2:push_promise_frame/7, the :authority pseudo-header from an incoming PUSH_PROMISE frame is stored verbatim into the promised stream record without checking that it matches the connection's origin. When gun_http2:headers_frame/9 later processes the response headers for the promised stream, it calls gun_cookies:set_cookie_header/7 with the unvalidated server-supplied authority before any status branching and before user code can act. This violates RFC 7540 §10.6 / RFC 9113 §8.4, which require receivers to treat as a protocol error any push for a resource the server is not authoritative for. A malicious or compromised HTTP/2 server can plant cookies scoped to arbitrary third-party domains into the client's shared cookie store. This enables session fixation attacks against those domains and, if the planted cookie overrides a legitimate session token, may result in account takeover. No user interaction beyond making a normal HTTP/2 request to the attacker-controlled server is required. This issue affects gun: from 2.0.0 before 2.4.0.
CVE-2026-47191 1 Siemens 1 Kas 2026-08-18 N/A
kas is a setup tool for bitbake based projects. Prior to version 5.3, when relying solely on a git commit ID (SHA-1 or SHA-256) to qualify if a checkout of a repository is equivalent to the state validated while adding its commit ID to a kas configuration, users may be tricked to check out a branch of the same name from this repository. This implies that the referenced repository has been taken over by an attacker and modified to carry such a branch. SHA-1 commits may also be replaced by creating hash collisions, so the primary impact of this issue is on SHA-256 commit IDs. Version 5.3 fixes the issue. As a workaround, avoid relying solely on the commit ID for integrity validation of a repository that might become under control of a malicious 3rd party. If available, additional validate cryptographically signed commits or tags. Alternatively, mirror the repository to a save place, validate its integrity, and use this instead of the original one.
CVE-2026-68467 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: mchp23k256: use SPI match data for chip caps The driver stores chip capacity information in both the OF match table and the SPI id table. Probe currently uses of_device_get_match_data(), so a non-OF SPI modalias match falls back to mchp23k256_caps even when the SPI id table selected a different part. Use spi_get_device_match_data() so SPI id-table driver_data is consumed when OF match data is absent. This keeps the existing default fallback while avoiding the wrong MTD geometry for id-table-only matches.

CVE-2026-71858 2026-08-17 N/A
Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.7, macros loaded from an attacker-controlled shortcuts.xml bypass the HMAC validation applied to UserDefinedCommands and can invoke Scintilla actions and the internal Open in Default Viewer command in an elevated Notepad++ process, allowing protected file modification and conditional elevated command execution when a local attacker influences settingsDir and a user triggers the macro. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.7.
CVE-2026-73846 1 Ondata 1 Ckan-mcp-server 2026-08-17 6.5 Medium
CKAN MCP Server is a tool for querying CKAN open data portals. Prior to 0.4.112, canonicalizeParams in src/utils/cache.ts serializes request parameters with unescaped ampersand, equals-sign, and vertical-bar delimiters, allowing different logical parameter sets used by buildCacheKey to collide and an attacker to prime a shared cache with a response for a victim's distinct query. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.112.
CVE-2026-19910 1 Paxtechnology 1 Q80 2026-08-17 N/A
PAX Technology Q80 Application Installer Signature Verification Bypass Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PAX Technology Q80. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the application installer. The issue results from the lack of proper verification of a cryptographic signature before installing an application. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-30585.
CVE-2026-18500 1 Fastify 1 Jwt 2026-08-17 8.1 High
@fastify/jwt is a JSON Web Token plugin for Fastify. In versions before 10.2.2, a per-request verification key passed to request.jwtVerify({ key }) is silently overridden by the plugin's globally configured secret, because the option merge applies the global key last. Applications that use different keys for different authorization domains, for example separate user and admin keys, therefore accept a token signed with the global key on a route that explicitly requires another key. This lets an ordinary authenticated user cross a key-based trust boundary without knowing either secret. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.2, where an explicit per-call key takes precedence over the global secret. Users should upgrade to 10.2.2.
CVE-2026-73657 1 Triggerdotdev 1 Trigger.dev 2026-08-17 4.2 Medium
Trigger.dev is a platform for building and deploying fully managed AI agents and workflows. From 4.4.2 until 4.5.0-rc.4, `POST /api/v1/runs/:runParam/replay` in apps/webapp/app/routes/api.v1.runs.$runParam.replay.ts uses `prisma.taskRun.findUnique({ where: { friendlyId: runParam } })` without a runtimeEnvironmentId filter, then ReplayTaskRunService in apps/webapp/app/v3/services/replayTaskRun.server.ts replays the selected run in the victim environment. Any valid environment API key can therefore replay another tenant's run by friendlyId, consuming victim resources and repeating side effects; when `payloadType: "application/store"` is used, overrideExistingPayloadPacket() calls conditionallyImportPacket() on existingTaskRun.payload without an integrity check, so payload bytes overwritten through a separate object-store path-traversal vulnerability become attacker-controlled input to the victim task. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0-rc.4.
CVE-2026-72357 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uprobes/x86: Use proper mm_struct in __in_uprobe_trampoline In the unregister path we use __in_uprobe_trampoline check with current->mm for the VMA lookup, which is wrong, because we are in the tracer context, not the traced process. Add mm_struct pointer argument to __in_uprobe_trampoline and changing related callers to pass proper mm_struct pointer.
CVE-2026-72817 1 Go-chi 1 Chi 2026-08-17 6.5 Medium
go-chi/chi versions 0.9.0 before 5.3.0 contains an IP spoofing vulnerability in the RealIP middleware, which resolves the request source IP (Request.RemoteAddr) using the first IP in the X-Forwarded-For header without validating trusted proxies. A malicious client can prepend a forged IP as the first value of the X-Forwarded-For header to spoof the request source IP, potentially bypassing access controls or falsifying request logs.
CVE-2026-18098 1 Ibm 1 I 2026-08-17 8.1 High
IBM i 7.6, 7.5, 7.4, and 7.3 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information and compromise system integrity due to an XML injection flaw.
CVE-2026-18847 1 Ibm 1 I 2026-08-17 8.8 High
IBM i 7.6, 7.5, 7.4, and 7.3 could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to harvest credentials due to spoofing of Navigator for i.
CVE-2026-47192 1 Siemens 1 Kas 2026-08-17 N/A
kas is a setup tool for bitbake based projects. Starting in version 4.8 and prior to version 5.3, kas checks out and processes repositories regarding configuration includes prior to validating signatures of those repositories. This may allow to replace on original repository with one under the control of an attacker under very specific conditions. First of all, the attacker must have gained control of a repository that a kas file of the victim is referencing. Furthermore, the following conditions must be fulfilled: the victim's kas configuration must include a configuration file from the attacked repository; the repository state is referenced by tag, and no commit ID is specified (this is triggering a warning, though); the key used for validating the tag or commit signature is stored as file in a repository; no fingerprint for the key is specified; and the `_source_dir` key must not be set by the victim when calling kas (e.g. by avoiding a local `.config.yaml`). Given these conditions, the attacker could modify the included kas configuration in way that the key used to validate the tag signature of the attacker's repository could be replaced by an attacker-chosen key. No other exploit possibilities have been identified so far, but this does not rule out that those may exist. All patches have been released along with kas version 5.3. As a workaround, pin the expected signature key via its fingerprint, also when storing it as file in a repository.
CVE-2026-73840 1 Openchoreo 1 Openchoreo 2026-08-14 5.3 Medium
OpenChoreo is a complete, open-source developer platform for Kubernetes. Prior to 1.0.3, 1.1.3, and 1.2.0-rc.2, the POST /api/v1alpha1/autobuild endpoint in internal/openchoreo-api/api/handlers/webhook_handler.go selected a webhook provider from caller-controlled X-Event-Key, accepted Bitbucket requests without HMAC-SHA256 in X-Hub-Signature or a configured bitbucket-secret, and allowed unauthenticated build triggers for components matched by repository URL and branch, including cross-provider triggers using attacker-supplied commit SHAs. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.3, 1.1.3, and 1.2.0-rc.2.
CVE-2026-56864 2 Golang, Gotoolchain 2 Mod, Cmd/go 2026-08-14 7.5 High
A malicious GOSUMDB was capable of serving arbitrary module content not contained within the transparency log. This attack allows for a coordinating GOPROXY and GOSUMDB to serve a client malicious module content that cannot be detected by evaluating the transparency log. In order to determine if you have been affected: rm -r go.sum go.work.sum vendor/ && go mod tidy
CVE-2026-71965 2 Cyberpanel, Usmannasir 2 Cyberpanel, Cyberpanel 2026-08-14 8.8 High
CyberPanel 2.4.3, fixed in commit eca0c3c, contains an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability in the remote backup feature that allows authenticated attackers to gain root-level SSH access by supplying a malicious remote server address. Attackers can exploit the unverified SSH public key retrieval process to write an attacker-controlled public key directly to /root/.ssh/authorized_keys, granting persistent root access to the host system.
