CVE-2025-21739 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-01 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: core: Fix use-after free in init error and remove paths devm_blk_crypto_profile_init() registers a cleanup handler to run when the associated (platform-) device is being released. For UFS, the crypto private data and pointers are stored as part of the ufs_hba's data structure 'struct ufs_hba::crypto_profile'. This structure is allocated as part of the underlying ufshcd and therefore Scsi_host allocation. During driver release or during error handling in ufshcd_pltfrm_init(), this structure is released as part of ufshcd_dealloc_host() before the (platform-) device associated with the crypto call above is released. Once this device is released, the crypto cleanup code will run, using the just-released 'struct ufs_hba::crypto_profile'. This causes a use-after-free situation: Call trace: kfree+0x60/0x2d8 (P) kvfree+0x44/0x60 blk_crypto_profile_destroy_callback+0x28/0x70 devm_action_release+0x1c/0x30 release_nodes+0x6c/0x108 devres_release_all+0x98/0x100 device_unbind_cleanup+0x20/0x70 really_probe+0x218/0x2d0 In other words, the initialisation code flow is: platform-device probe ufshcd_pltfrm_init() ufshcd_alloc_host() scsi_host_alloc() allocation of struct ufs_hba creation of scsi-host devices devm_blk_crypto_profile_init() devm registration of cleanup handler using platform-device and during error handling of ufshcd_pltfrm_init() or during driver removal: ufshcd_dealloc_host() scsi_host_put() put_device(scsi-host) release of struct ufs_hba put_device(platform-device) crypto cleanup handler To fix this use-after free, change ufshcd_alloc_host() to register a devres action to automatically cleanup the underlying SCSI device on ufshcd destruction, without requiring explicit calls to ufshcd_dealloc_host(). This way: * the crypto profile and all other ufs_hba-owned resources are destroyed before SCSI (as they've been registered after) * a memleak is plugged in tc-dwc-g210-pci.c remove() as a side-effect * EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL(ufshcd_dealloc_host) can be removed fully as it's not needed anymore * no future drivers using ufshcd_alloc_host() could ever forget adding the cleanup
CVE-2024-53213 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-01 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: lan78xx: Fix double free issue with interrupt buffer allocation In lan78xx_probe(), the buffer `buf` was being freed twice: once implicitly through `usb_free_urb(dev->urb_intr)` with the `URB_FREE_BUFFER` flag and again explicitly by `kfree(buf)`. This caused a double free issue. To resolve this, reordered `kmalloc()` and `usb_alloc_urb()` calls to simplify the initialization sequence and removed the redundant `kfree(buf)`. Now, `buf` is allocated after `usb_alloc_urb()`, ensuring it is correctly managed by `usb_fill_int_urb()` and freed by `usb_free_urb()` as intended.
CVE-2024-50012 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq: Avoid a bad reference count on CPU node In the parse_perf_domain function, if the call to of_parse_phandle_with_args returns an error, then the reference to the CPU device node that was acquired at the start of the function would not be properly decremented. Address this by declaring the variable with the __free(device_node) cleanup attribute.
CVE-2024-49925 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: efifb: Register sysfs groups through driver core The driver core can register and cleanup sysfs groups already. Make use of that functionality to simplify the error handling and cleanup. Also avoid a UAF race during unregistering where the sysctl attributes were usable after the info struct was freed.
CVE-2024-36922 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-06-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: read txq->read_ptr under lock If we read txq->read_ptr without lock, we can read the same value twice, then obtain the lock, and reclaim from there to two different places, but crucially reclaim the same entry twice, resulting in the WARN_ONCE() a little later. Fix that by reading txq->read_ptr under lock.
CVE-2024-35865 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix potential UAF in smb2_is_valid_oplock_break() Skip sessions that are being teared down (status == SES_EXITING) to avoid UAF.
CVE-2024-27389 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pstore: inode: Only d_invalidate() is needed Unloading a modular pstore backend with records in pstorefs would trigger the dput() double-drop warning: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 2569 at fs/dcache.c:762 dput.part.0+0x3f3/0x410 Using the combo of d_drop()/dput() (as mentioned in Documentation/filesystems/vfs.rst) isn't the right approach here, and leads to the reference counting problem seen above. Use d_invalidate() and update the code to not bother checking for error codes that can never happen. ---

CVE-2023-53596 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-01 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drivers: base: Free devm resources when unregistering a device In the current code, devres_release_all() only gets called if the device has a bus and has been probed. This leads to issues when using bus-less or driver-less devices where the device might never get freed if a managed resource holds a reference to the device. This is happening in the DRM framework for example. We should thus call devres_release_all() in the device_del() function to make sure that the device-managed actions are properly executed when the device is unregistered, even if it has neither a bus nor a driver. This is effectively the same change than commit 2f8d16a996da ("devres: release resources on device_del()") that got reverted by commit a525a3ddeaca ("driver core: free devres in device_release") over memory leaks concerns. This patch effectively combines the two commits mentioned above to release the resources both on device_del() and device_release() and get the best of both worlds.
CVE-2022-50552 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-01 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: use quiesced elevator switch when reinitializing queues The hctx's run_work may be racing with the elevator switch when reinitializing hardware queues. The queue is merely frozen in this context, but that only prevents requests from allocating and doesn't stop the hctx work from running. The work may get an elevator pointer that's being torn down, and can result in use-after-free errors and kernel panics (example below). Use the quiesced elevator switch instead, and make the previous one static since it is now only used locally. nvme nvme0: resetting controller nvme nvme0: 32/0/0 default/read/poll queues BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000008 #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page PGD 80000020c8861067 P4D 80000020c8861067 PUD 250f8c8067 PMD 0 Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP PTI Workqueue: kblockd blk_mq_run_work_fn RIP: 0010:kyber_has_work+0x29/0x70 ... CVE-2025-11234 1 Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel E4s and 1 more 2026-06-01 7.5 High
A flaw was found in QEMU. If the QIOChannelWebsock object is freed while it is waiting to complete a handshake, a GSource is leaked. This can lead to the callback firing later on and triggering a use-after-free in the use of the channel. This can be abused by a malicious client with network access to the VNC WebSocket port to cause a denial of service during the WebSocket handshake prior to the VNC client authentication.
CVE-2026-45324 1 Rizin 1 Rizin 2026-05-30 3.3 Low
Rizin is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. There is a double free in librz/core/cmd/cmd_search.c:byte_pattern_search() due wrong pointer ownership declared. This vulnerability is fixed by commit 045fff363b42b8a6dda8ad5229c29ec3267e7dbe.
CVE-2026-46093 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/vmalloc: take vmap_purge_lock in shrinker decay_va_pool_node() can be invoked concurrently from two paths: __purge_vmap_area_lazy() when pools are being purged, and the shrinker via vmap_node_shrink_scan(). However, decay_va_pool_node() is not safe to run concurrently, and the shrinker path currently lacks serialization, leading to races and possible leaks. Protect decay_va_pool_node() by taking vmap_purge_lock in the shrinker path to ensure serialization with purge users.
CVE-2026-45951 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-30 7.8 High
