| CVE-2025-22126 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: fix mddev uaf while iterating all_mddevs list While iterating all_mddevs list from md_notify_reboot() and md_exit(), list_for_each_entry_safe is used, and this can race with deletint the next mddev, causing UAF: t1: spin_lock //list_for_each_entry_safe(mddev, n, ...) mddev_get(mddev1) // assume mddev2 is the next entry spin_unlock t2: //remove mddev2 ... mddev_free spin_lock list_del spin_unlock kfree(mddev2) mddev_put(mddev1) spin_lock //continue dereference mddev2->all_mddevs The old helper for_each_mddev() actually grab the reference of mddev2 while holding the lock, to prevent from being freed. This problem can be fixed the same way, however, the code will be complex. Hence switch to use list_for_each_entry, in this case mddev_put() can free the mddev1 and it's not safe as well. Refer to md_seq_show(), also factor out a helper mddev_put_locked() to fix this problem. | ||||
| CVE-2025-21997 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: fix an integer overflow in xp_create_and_assign_umem() Since the i and pool->chunk_size variables are of type 'u32', their product can wrap around and then be cast to 'u64'. This can lead to two different XDP buffers pointing to the same memory area. Found by InfoTeCS on behalf of Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. | ||||
| CVE-2025-21991 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/microcode/AMD: Fix out-of-bounds on systems with CPU-less NUMA nodes Currently, load_microcode_amd() iterates over all NUMA nodes, retrieves their CPU masks and unconditionally accesses per-CPU data for the first CPU of each mask. According to Documentation/admin-guide/mm/numaperf.rst: "Some memory may share the same node as a CPU, and others are provided as memory only nodes." Therefore, some node CPU masks may be empty and wouldn't have a "first CPU". On a machine with far memory (and therefore CPU-less NUMA nodes): - cpumask_of_node(nid) is 0 - cpumask_first(0) is CONFIG_NR_CPUS - cpu_data(CONFIG_NR_CPUS) accesses the cpu_info per-CPU array at an index that is 1 out of bounds This does not have any security implications since flashing microcode is a privileged operation but I believe this has reliability implications by potentially corrupting memory while flashing a microcode update. When booting with CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS=y on an AMD machine that flashes a microcode update. I get the following splat: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in arch/x86/kernel/cpu/microcode/amd.c:X:Y index 512 is out of range for type 'unsigned long[512]' [...] Call Trace: dump_stack __ubsan_handle_out_of_bounds load_microcode_amd request_microcode_amd reload_store kernfs_fop_write_iter vfs_write ksys_write do_syscall_64 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe Change the loop to go over only NUMA nodes which have CPUs before determining whether the first CPU on the respective node needs microcode update. | CVE-2025-21920 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vlan: enforce underlying device type Currently, VLAN devices can be created on top of non-ethernet devices. Besides the fact that it doesn't make much sense, this also causes a bug which leaks the address of a kernel function to usermode. When creating a VLAN device, we initialize GARP (garp_init_applicant) and MRP (mrp_init_applicant) for the underlying device. As part of the initialization process, we add the multicast address of each applicant to the underlying device, by calling dev_mc_add. __dev_mc_add uses dev->addr_len to determine the length of the new multicast address. This causes an out-of-bounds read if dev->addr_len is greater than 6, since the multicast addresses provided by GARP and MRP are only 6 bytes long. This behaviour can be reproduced using the following commands: ip tunnel add gretest mode ip6gre local ::1 remote ::2 dev lo ip l set up dev gretest ip link add link gretest name vlantest type vlan id 100 Then, the following command will display the address of garp_pdu_rcv: ip maddr show | grep 01:80:c2:00:00:21 Fix the bug by enforcing the type of the underlying device during VLAN device initialization. | ||||
| CVE-2024-58069 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: pcf85063: fix potential OOB write in PCF85063 NVMEM read The nvmem interface supports variable buffer sizes, while the regmap interface operates with fixed-size storage. If an nvmem client uses a buffer size less than 4 bytes, regmap_read will write out of bounds as it expects the buffer to point at an unsigned int. Fix this by using an intermediary unsigned int to hold the value. | ||||
| CVE-2024-58007 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: qcom: socinfo: Avoid out of bounds read of serial number On MSM8916 devices, the serial number exposed in sysfs is constant and does not change across individual devices. It's always: db410c:/sys/devices/soc0$ cat serial_number 2644893864 The firmware used on MSM8916 exposes SOCINFO_VERSION(0, 8), which does not have support for the serial_num field in the socinfo struct. There is an existing check to avoid exposing the serial number in that case, but it's not correct: When checking the item_size returned by SMEM, we need to make sure the *end* of the serial_num is within bounds, instead of comparing with the *start* offset. The serial_number currently exposed on MSM8916 devices is just an out of bounds read of whatever comes after the socinfo struct in SMEM. Fix this by changing offsetof() to offsetofend(), so that the size of the field is also taken into account. | ||||
| CVE-2024-56326 | 2 Palletsprojects, Redhat | 15 Jinja, Ansible Automation Platform, Discovery and 12 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| Jinja is an extensible templating engine. Prior to 3.1.5, An oversight in how the Jinja sandboxed environment detects calls to str.format allows an attacker that controls the content of a template to execute arbitrary Python code. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker needs to control the content of a template. Whether that is the case depends on the type of application using Jinja. This vulnerability impacts users of applications which execute untrusted templates. Jinja's sandbox does catch calls to str.format and ensures they don't escape the sandbox. However, it's possible to store a reference to a malicious string's format method, then pass that to a filter that calls it. No such filters are built-in to Jinja, but could be present through custom filters in an application. After the fix, such indirect calls are also handled by the sandbox. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.5. | ||||
| CVE-2024-54677 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more | 2025-11-03 | 5.3 Medium |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the examples web application provided with Apache Tomcat leads to denial of service. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.1, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.33, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.9.97. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.2, 10.1.34 or 9.0.98, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2024-53203 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: fix potential array underflow in ucsi_ccg_sync_control() The "command" variable can be controlled by the user via debugfs. The worry is that if con_index is zero then "&uc->ucsi->connector[con_index - 1]" would be an array underflow. | ||||
| CVE-2024-35790 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: altmodes/displayport: create sysfs nodes as driver's default device attribute group The DisplayPort driver's sysfs nodes may be present to the userspace before typec_altmode_set_drvdata() completes in dp_altmode_probe. This means that a sysfs read can trigger a NULL pointer error by deferencing dp->hpd in hpd_show or dp->lock in pin_assignment_show, as dev_get_drvdata() returns NULL in those cases. Remove manual sysfs node creation in favor of adding attribute group as default for devices bound to the driver. The ATTRIBUTE_GROUPS() macro is not used here otherwise the path to the sysfs nodes is no longer compliant with the ABI. | ||||
| CVE-2024-34750 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat | 5 Tomcat, Ontap Tools, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions, Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. When processing an HTTP/2 stream, Tomcat did not handle some cases of excessive HTTP headers correctly. This led to a miscounting of active HTTP/2 streams which in turn led to the use of an incorrect infinite timeout which allowed connections to remain open which should have been closed. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M20, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.24, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.89. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0-M21, 10.1.25 or 9.0.90, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2024-26767 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: fixed integer types and null check locations [why]: issues fixed: - comparison with wider integer type in loop condition which can cause infinite loops - pointer dereference before null check | ||||
| CVE-2024-26618 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64/sme: Always exit sme_alloc() early with existing storage When sme_alloc() is called with existing storage and we are not flushing we will always allocate new storage, both leaking the existing storage and corrupting the state. Fix this by separating the checks for flushing and for existing storage as we do for SVE. Callers that reallocate (eg, due to changing the vector length) should call sme_free() themselves. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4641 | 2 Redhat, Shadow-maint | 10 Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64, Codeready Linux Builder For Ibm Z Systems and 7 more | 2025-11-03 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in shadow-utils. When asking for a new password, shadow-utils asks the password twice. If the password fails on the second attempt, shadow-utils fails in cleaning the buffer used to store the first entry. This may allow an attacker with enough access to retrieve the password from the memory. | ||||
| CVE-2022-4415 | 2 Redhat, Systemd Project | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus, Systemd | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in systemd. This security flaw can cause a local information leak due to systemd-coredump not respecting the fs.suid_dumpable kernel setting. | ||||
