CVSS v3.1 |
MJM Core Player (likely now referred to as MJM Player) 2011 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow when parsing specially crafted .s3m music files. The vulnerability arises from improper bounds checking in the file parser, allowing an attacker to overwrite memory on the stack and execute arbitrary code. Exploitation is triggered when a user opens a malicious .s3m file, and the exploit bypasses DEP and ASLR protections using a ROP chain.
Subtitle Processor 7.7.1 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in its .m3u file parser. When a crafted playlist file is opened, the application converts input to Unicode and copies it to a fixed-size stack buffer without proper bounds checking. This allows an attacker to overwrite the Structured Exception Handler (SEH) and execute arbitrary code.
AOL Desktop 9.6 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in its Tool\rich.rct component when parsing .rtx files. By embedding an overly long string in a hyperlink tag, an attacker can trigger a stack-based buffer overflow due to the use of unsafe strcpy operations. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code when a victim opens a malicious .rtx file. AOL Desktop is end-of-life and no longer supported. Users are encouraged to migrate to AOL Desktop Gold or alternative platforms.
Sunway ForceControl version 6.1 SP3 and earlier contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the SNMP NetDBServer service, which listens on TCP port 2001. The flaw is triggered when the service receives a specially crafted packet using opcode 0x57 with an overly long payload. Due to improper bounds checking during packet parsing, attacker-controlled data overwrites the Structured Exception Handler (SEH), allowing arbitrary code execution in the context of the service. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely without authentication and may lead to full system compromise on affected Windows hosts.
LibVNCServer 0.9.12 release and earlier contains heap buffer overflow vulnerability within the HandleCursorShape() function in libvncclient/cursor.c. An attacker sends cursor shapes with specially crafted dimensions, which can result in remote code execution.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in i-Ftp version 2.20 due to improper handling of the Time attribute within Schedule.xml. By placing a specially crafted Schedule.xml file in the i-Ftp application directory, a remote attacker can trigger a buffer overflow during scheduled download parsing, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a crash.
dataSIMS Avionics ARINC 664-1 version 4.5.3 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to overwrite memory by manipulating the milstd1553result.txt file. Attackers can craft a malicious file with carefully constructed payload and alignment sections to potentially execute arbitrary code on the Windows system.
10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer 8.65 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in exception handling that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Attackers can craft a malicious file with 209 bytes of padding and a specially constructed Structured Exception Handler to trigger code execution.
docPrint Pro 8.0 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability in the 'Add URL' input field that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting memory. Attackers can craft a malicious payload that triggers a structured exception handler (SEH) overwrite to execute shellcode and gain remote system access.
Zortam Mp3 Media Studio 27.60 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the library creation file selection process that allows remote code execution. Attackers can craft a malicious text file with shellcode to trigger a structured exception handler (SEH) overwrite and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Nidesoft 3GP Video Converter 2.6.18 contains a local stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the license registration parameter. Attackers can craft a malicious payload and paste it into the 'License Code' field to execute arbitrary code on the system.
StreamRipper32 version 2.6 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Station/Song Section that allows attackers to overwrite memory by manipulating the SongPattern input. Attackers can craft a malicious payload exceeding 256 bytes to potentially execute arbitrary code and compromise the application.
DD-WRT version 45723 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the UPNP network discovery service that allows remote attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can send crafted M-SEARCH packets with oversized UUID payloads to trigger buffer overflow conditions on the target device.
Sandboxie 5.49.7 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by overflowing the container folder input field. Attackers can paste a large buffer of repeated characters into the Sandbox container folder setting to trigger an application crash.
WebSSH for iOS 14.16.10 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the mashREPL tool that allows attackers to crash the application by pasting malformed input. Attackers can trigger the vulnerability by copying a 300-character buffer of repeated 'A' characters into the mashREPL input field, causing the application to crash.
iDailyDiary 4.30 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by overflowing the preferences tab name field. Attackers can paste a 2,000,000 character buffer into the default diary tab name to trigger an application crash.
RarmaRadio 2.72.8 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by overflowing network configuration fields with large character buffers. Attackers can generate a 100,000 character buffer and paste it into multiple network settings fields to trigger application instability and potential crash.
DupTerminator 1.4.5639.37199 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by inputting a long character string in the Excluded text box. Attackers can generate a payload of 8000 repeated characters to trigger the application to stop working on Windows 10.
Backup Key Recovery 2.2.7 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by overflowing the registration code input field. Attackers can paste a large buffer of 256 repeated characters into the registration key field to trigger application instability and potential crash.
NoteBurner 2.35 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the license code input field that allows attackers to crash the application. Attackers can generate a 6000-byte payload and paste it into the 'Name' and 'Code' fields to trigger an application crash.
