Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Hitachi JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent for Windows, Hitachi JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent on Windows, Hitachi Job Management Partner1/Extensible SNMP Agent on Windows allows File Manipulation. This issue affects JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent for Windows: from 12-00 before 12-00-01, from 11-00 through 11-00-*; JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent: from 10-10 through 10-10-01, from 10-00 through 10-00-02, from 09-00 through 09-00-04; Job Management Partner1/Extensible SNMP Agent: from 10-10 through 10-10-01, from 10-00 through 10-00-02, from 09-00 through 09-00-04.
A DLL hijacking vulnerability in the AMD Optimizing CPU Libraries could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
Stalwart Mail Server is an open-source mail server. Prior to version 0.8.0, when using `RUN_AS_USER`, the specified user (and therefore, web interface admins) can read arbitrary files as root. This issue affects admins who have set up to run stalwart with `RUN_AS_USER` who handed out admin credentials to the mail server but expect these to only grant access according to the `RUN_AS_USER` and are attacked where the attackers managed to achieve Arbitrary Code Execution using another vulnerability. Version 0.8.0 contains a patch for the issue.
ETERNUS SF provided by Fsas Technologies Inc. contains an incorrect default permissions vulnerability. A low-privileged user with access to the management server may obtain database credentials, potentially allowing execution of OS commands with administrator privileges.
Delinea Privilege Manager before 12.0.2 mishandles the security of the Windows agent.
In Public Knowledge Project (PKP) OJS, OMP, and OPS before 3.3.0.21 and 3.4.x before 3.4.0.8, an XXE attack by the Journal Editor Role can create a new role as super admin in the journal context, and insert a backdoor plugin, by uploading a crafted XML document as a User XML Plugin.
Incorrect default permissions on the AMD Ryzen(TM) AI installation folder could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
An issue was discovered on Brother MFC-J491DW C1806180757 devices. The printer's web-interface password hash can be retrieved without authentication, because the response header of any failed login attempt returns an incomplete authorization cookie. The value of the authorization cookie is the MD5 hash of the password in hexadecimal. An attacker can easily derive the true MD5 hash from this, and use offline cracking attacks to obtain administrative access to the device.
Kernel software installed and running inside a Guest VM may exploit memory shared with the GPU Firmware to write data into another Guest's virtualised GPU memory.
MilleGPG5 5.7.2 contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated users to modify service executable files in the MariaDB bin directory. Attackers can replace the mysqld.exe with a malicious executable, which will execute with system privileges when the computer restarts.
An issue in the wssrvc.exe service of QuickHeal Antivirus Pro Version v24.0 and Quick Heal Total Security v24.0 allows authenticated attackers to escalate privileges.
Incorrect access control in QuickHeal Antivirus Pro 24.1.0.182 and earlier allows authenticated attackers with low-level privileges to arbitrarily modify antivirus settings.
System call entry on Cortex M (and possibly R and A, but I think not) has a race which allows very practical privilege escalation for malicious userspace processes.
The Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
Local file inclusion in Automatic Systems Maintenance SlimLane 29565_d74ecce0c1081d50546db573a499941b10799fb7 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the PassageAutoServer.php page.
Nix is a package manager for Linux and other Unix systems. Builds with Nix 2.30.0 on macOS were executed with elevated privileges (root), instead of the build users. The fix was applied to Nix 2.30.1. No known workarounds are available.
| The configuration of Cursor on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Cursor TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.
Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Cursor, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue was detected in 15.4.1 version of Cursor. Project maintainers decided not to fix this issue, because a scenario including a local attacker falls outside their defined threat model. |
Buildroot before 0b2967e lacks the sticky bit for the /dev/shm directory. A fix was released in 2024.02.2.
Toshiba printers use Sendmail to send emails to recipients. Sendmail is used with several insecure directories. A local attacker can inject a malicious Sendmail configuration file. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
An incorrect permissions vulnerability was reported in Elliptic Labs Virtual Lock Sensor that could allow a local, authenticated user to escalate privileges.
