CVE-2025-71397 1 Surrealdb 1 Surrealdb 2026-08-13 6.5 Medium
SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 allows authenticated users with OWNER or EDITOR permissions (at the root, namespace, or database level) to define custom database functions via DEFINE FUNCTION using nested FOR loops. Although a single loop's iteration count is constrained, nesting multiple loops (e.g., each with 1,000,000 iterations) is not, so an attacker can execute a function that consumes all server CPU time. Configured timeouts do not stop the execution, rendering the server unresponsive to other queries and connections until it is manually restarted.
CVE-2026-44579 1 Vercel 1 Next.js 2026-08-13 7.5 High
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From to before 15.5.16 and 16.2.5, applications using Partial Prerendering through the Cache Components feature can be vulnerable to connection exhaustion through crafted POST requests to a server action. In affected configurations, a malicious request can trigger a request-body handling deadlock that leaves connections open for an extended period, consuming file descriptors and server capacity until legitimate users are denied service. This vulnerability is fixed in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.
CVE-2026-33814 2 Go Standard Library, Golang 3 Net/http, Go, Http2 2026-08-13 7.5 High
When processing HTTP/2 SETTINGS frames, transport will enter an infinite loop of writing CONTINUATION frames if it receives a SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE with a value of 0.
CVE-2026-64238 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: shared: fix deadlock on shared proxy's parent removal Commit 710abda58055 ("gpio: shared: call gpio_chip::of_xlate() if set") used the mutex embedded in struct gpio_shared_entry to protect the offset field which now can be modified after assignment. The critical section however is too wide and introduced a potential deadlock on the removal of the shared GPIO proxy's parent. Make the critical section shorter - only protect the offset when it's being read. While at it: mention the fact that the entry lock is now also used to protect against concurrent access to the offset field in the structure's documentation.
CVE-2026-19484 1 Fastify 1 Busboy 2026-08-13 7.5 High
@fastify/busboy is a multipart form-data parser. In versions 3.1.0 through 3.2.0, a remote unauthenticated attacker can stall the Node.js event loop by sending a multipart request whose boundary is crafted to a specific length. The vendored streaming search stores its skip table in a fixed 256 entry byte array, and a boundary of exactly 252 bytes makes the search needle 256 bytes, which truncates the default skip distance to zero and turns the search into a CPU bound loop on a small body. A single small request can keep one core busy and deny service to other requests handled by the same process. The issue is fixed in @fastify/busboy 3.2.1, which widens the skip table so the skip distance is preserved. Users should upgrade to 3.2.1.
CVE-2026-68237 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: fix indefinite fence wait during GPU reset pre_reset only force-completes fences of MAPPED queues. A queue in any other state (e.g. mid-eviction) keeps its last_fence pending; after a GPU reset that fence never signals, so the eviction/suspend worker and process teardown (amdgpu_evf_mgr_flush_suspend) wait on it forever and wedge the machine: INFO: task kworker/6:28 blocked for more than 120 seconds. Workqueue: events amdgpu_eviction_fence_suspend_worker [amdgpu] Call Trace: dma_fence_wait_timeout+0x7e/0x130 amdgpu_userq_evict+0x67/0x140 [amdgpu] amdgpu_eviction_fence_suspend_worker+0xd8/0x160 [amdgpu] process_scheduled_works+0xa6/0x420 Force-complete every queue's fence regardless of state. CVE-2026-68296 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: gre: fix lltx regression for GRE tunnels with SEQ/CSUM Before commit 00d066a4d4ed ("netdev_features: convert NETIF_F_LLTX to dev->lltx"), NETIF_F_LLTX was set unconditionally in both __gre_tunnel_init() and ip6gre_tnl_init_features() alongside GRE_FEATURES: dev->features |= GRE_FEATURES | NETIF_F_LLTX; When that commit converted NETIF_F_LLTX to the dev->lltx flag, it placed 'dev->lltx = true' after the SEQ/CSUM early returns instead of before them. This causes GRE/GRETAP/ip6gre tunnels with SEQ or CSUM+encap to lose lockless TX, reintroducing _xmit_lock acquisition around their ndo_start_xmit. Since GRE xmit re-enters the stack via ip_tunnel_xmit(), holding _xmit_lock risks ABBA deadlock with the underlay device. CPU0 CPU1 ---- ---- lock(&qdisc_xmit_lock_key#6); lock(&qdisc_xmit_lock_key#3); lock(&qdisc_xmit_lock_key#6); lock(&qdisc_xmit_lock_key#3); Fix by moving dev->lltx = true before the early returns in both functions, restoring the original unconditional behavior.
CVE-2026-68369 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: printer: fix infinite loop in printer_read() printer_read() uses the same variable for the requested copy size and the number of bytes actually copied to user space. copy_to_user() returns the number of bytes not copied, so when it fails to copy anything, the computed copied length becomes zero. In that case len, buf, current_rx_bytes and current_rx_buf are left unchanged. If RX data is available and the user buffer remains unwritable, the read loop can repeat indefinitely. Track the copied length separately and return -EFAULT, or the number of bytes already copied, if an iteration makes no progress.
CVE-2026-68364 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-13 5.0 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix ISM dc_lock deadlock during suspend [Why] System hang observed during suspend/resume while video is playing. amdgpu_dm_ism_disable() is called under dc_lock and waits for ISM delayed work via disable_delayed_work_sync(). The work handlers themselves take dc_lock, producing an ABBA deadlock when a worker is in flight at suspend time. [How] Split the disable path into two phases with opposite locking contracts: 1. amdgpu_dm_ism_disable() -- quiesces workers, must NOT hold dc_lock. 2. amdgpu_dm_ism_force_full_power() (new) -- drives the ISM FSM back to FULL_POWER_RUNNING, must hold dc_lock.
CVE-2026-68449 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: sata_dwc_460ex: fix infinite loop in NCQ tag completion bit-scanning The hand-rolled bit-scanning loop in the NCQ completion path has an infinite loop bug. When tag_mask has only high bits set (e.g. 0x80000000), the inner while loop left-shifts tag_mask until it overflows to 0. At that point !(0 & 1) is always true and 0 <<= 1 stays 0, causing an infinite loop in hardirq context with a spinlock held. Replace the open-coded bit-scanning with __ffs() which correctly finds the least significant set bit and is bounded by the width of the argument.
CVE-2026-59843 2 Libssh, Redhat 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-08-12 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh. A remote authenticated peer can advertise a zero maximum packet size in SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN, causing later channel writes to loop indefinitely and consume CPU, leading to denial of service.

CVE-2026-64250 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: LoongArch: Report dying CPU to RCU in stop_this_cpu() This is a port of MIPS commit 9f3f3bdc6d9dac1 ("MIPS: smp: report dying CPU to RCU in stop_this_cpu()"). smp_send_stop() parks all secondary CPUs in stop_this_cpu(). And the function marks the CPU offline for the scheduler via set_cpu_online(false) but never informs RCU, so RCU keeps expecting a quiescent state from CPUs that are now spinning forever with interrupts disabled. As long as nothing waits for an RCU grace period after smp_send_stop() this is harmless, which is why it went unnoticed. However, since commit 91840be8f710370 ("irq_work: Fix use-after-free in irq_work_single() on PREEMPT_RT"), irq_work_sync() calls synchronize_rcu() on architectures without an irq_work self-IPI, i.e. where arch_irq_work_has_interrupt() returns false. Any irq_work_sync() issued in the reboot/shutdown/halt path after smp_send_stop() then blocks on a grace period that can never complete, hanging the reboot: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 15 at kernel/irq_work.c:144 irq_work_queue_on ... rcu: INFO: rcu_sched detected stalls on CPUs/tasks: rcu: Offline CPU 1 blocking current GP. rcu: Offline CPU 2 blocking current GP. rcu: Offline CPU 3 blocking current GP. This issue needs some hacks to reproduce, and it was not noticed on LoongArch because arch_irq_work_has_interrupt() usually returns true. Call rcutree_report_cpu_dead() once interrupts are disabled, mirroring the generic CPU-hotplug offline path, so RCU stops waiting on the parked CPUs and grace periods can still complete. LoongArch shuts down all CPUs here without going through the CPU-hotplug mechanism, so this report is not otherwise issued.
CVE-2026-14258 2 Dhcpcd Project, Redhat 2 Dhcpcd, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-12 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in dhcpcd's IPv6 Neighbor Discovery Router Advertisement processing. A specially crafted IPv6 Router Advertisement containing a zero-length Neighbor Discovery option can bypass validation during packet storage and later be reparsed without adequate validation, causing the parser to enter a non-advancing loop. Successful exploitation may result in excessive CPU consumption, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2026-10683 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-08-12 2.4 Low
In the Synopsys DesignWare I2C driver (drivers/i2c/i2c_dw.c) operating in target/slave mode, the rx_full interrupt handler gates the write_requested() callback on dw->state != CMD_SEND, and dw->state is only reset to READY on a STOP interrupt. The START_DET interrupt, whose handler in i2c_dw_slave_read_clear_intr_bits() would reset the state on every (re)START, was never added to the enabled interrupt mask in i2c_dw_slave_register(), so that recovery path was dead code. As a result, if the STOP interrupt is lost (bus glitch/reset, or a concurrent master driving STOP) or the bus master issues a legal WRITE-repeated-START-WRITE sequence with the same direction, the driver remains in CMD_SEND permanently and never invokes write_requested() again for the life of the target. An I2C master on the same physical bus can deliberately trigger this, causing the I2C target function to malfunction for all subsequent write transactions and desynchronizing consumer framing state (e.g. MCTP-over-I2C), a recoverable-by-reset denial of service of the target peripheral. The fix unmasks START_DET so the state is reset at every bus (re)START. Impact is availability-only over a local board-level bus; no memory corruption results in the in-tree consumer, whose per-byte buffer write is independently bounds-checked.
CVE-2026-46385 1 Iskorotkov 1 Avro 2026-08-12 7.5 High
iskorotkov/avro is a fast Go Avro codec. Prior to 2.33.0, the Avro array and map decoders looped over an attacker-controlled block-count value without checking the underlying reader's error state inside the loop body. Reader.ReadBlockHeader returns the count as a Go int, which is 64-bit on amd64 / arm64 targets — so a producer can declare a block of up to math.MaxInt64 (~9.2 × 10¹⁸) elements followed by EOF (or any truncated payload), and the decoder will attempt that many no-op iterations before propagating the error. The realistic ceiling is "indefinite until the worker is killed externally" — a single hostile payload pins a CPU core until the process is OOM-killed, deadline-cancelled, or terminated. Remote, unauthenticated denial-of-service. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.33.0.

CVE-2023-20083 1 Cisco 1 Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 8.6 High
A vulnerability in ICMPv6 inspection when configured with the Snort 2 detection engine for Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the CPU of an affected device to spike to 100 percent, which could stop all traffic processing and result in a denial of service (DoS) condition. FTD management traffic is not affected by this vulnerability. This vulnerability is due to improper error checking when parsing fields within the ICMPv6 header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted ICMPv6 packet through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to exhaust CPU resources and stop processing traffic, resulting in a DoS condition. Note: To recover from the DoS condition, the Snort 2 Detection Engine or the Cisco FTD device may need to be restarted.
CVE-2024-20353 1 Cisco 4 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Asa, Firepower Threat Defense Software and 1 more 2026-08-11 8.6 High
A vulnerability in the management and VPN web servers for Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing an HTTP header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to a targeted web server on a device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the device reloads.
