| CVE-2026-107696 | 1 Ffmpeg | 1 Ffmpeg | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| FFmpeg through 9.0.2 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in ff_rtsp_connect() in libavformat/rtsp.c that follows RTSP 3xx redirects without any redirect limit. Attackers controlling an RTSP server can answer every request with a 302 redirect to itself or another server, causing endless reconnects that saturate a CPU core. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107695 | 1 Ffmpeg | 1 Ffmpeg | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| FFmpeg before 8.1.3 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in the HLS demuxer that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service because parse_playlist() accepts Master Playlist tags inside Media Playlists. Attackers can trick victims into opening a crafted self-referencing playlist that endlessly adds variants in hls_read_header(), causing unbounded CPU and I/O consumption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107335 | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| Malcolm's upload-processing pipeline (scripts/safe-extract.py) enforces entry-count, nesting-depth, and total-uncompressed-byte limits when extracting container archives (zip/tar/rar/7z via libarchive), but those limits are not applied when the uploaded file is a single-stream compressed format (.gz, .bz2, .xz, .lzma, .lz) that isn't a .tar.*-style archive. Any authenticated user permitted to upload PCAP/log files can upload a small, highly compressible file (e.g. a gzip bomb) that decompresses to an effectively unbounded size on disk, exhausting the shared Docker volume used by OpenSearch, Logstash, Arkime, and Zeek, and disrupting the platform for all users. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107337 | 2026-10-08 | 7.1 High | ||
| The Malcolm kiosk Flask application exposes a POST /script_call/<script> endpoint with zero authentication and wildcard CORS (CORS(app)). An attacker can force the operator's browser to execute arbitrary management commands via CSRF, including control.py --wipe which permanently deletes all captured network traffic and forensic logs, or control.py --stop which blinds the security monitoring. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107361 | 2026-10-08 | 4.2 Medium | ||
| The Arkime live capture service (arkime-live) in Malcolm runs with network_mode: host, exposing port 8005 on all network interfaces (viewHost=0.0.0.0). Arkime trusts the X-Forwarded-User header from any IP address (userAuthIps=::,0.0.0.0/0) and auto-creates users with full access. The passwordSecret is hardcoded to the public value "Malcolm". A network-adjacent attacker bypasses nginx entirely by connecting directly to port 8005 with a forged identity header. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98139 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: only count successfully cleared runs when freeing clusters ntfs_cluster_free_from_rl_nolock() adds a run's length to nr_freed whenever the error bookkeeping condition is false, which includes cases where ntfs_bitmap_clear_run() actually failed - e.g. a second run failing with the same errno as an earlier one, or any failure after a non-ENOMEM error was already recorded. Since a failed ntfs_bitmap_clear_run() rolls back its partial modifications, no bits were cleared for that run, yet its length still inflates vol->free_clusters, corrupting statfs output and the allocator's free space gate. Only count runs whose bitmap clear succeeded. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107362 | 2026-10-08 | 7.1 High | ||
| Malcolm file-upload component ships the upstream FilePond PHP server (pqina/filepond-server-php) largely unmodified: Dockerfile copies all upstream *.php files and Malcolm only overwrites config.php and submit.php. Upstream index.php exposes a fetch API route that instructs the server to download an arbitrary URL with curl (including FOLLOWLOCATION) and, for HEAD requests, stores the fetched response body in the upload container's transfer directory and returns the transfer ID to the caller, enabling full readback of the fetched content. | ||||

| CVE-2026-107333 | 2026-10-08 | 8.1 High | ||
| Malcolm's nginx based reverse proxy contains a URL path normalization inconsistency between its Lua based role-based access control (RBAC) authorization layer and nginx's own request routing logic. An authenticated user can craft a specially formatted request path to bypass role-based restrictions and reach administrative or role gated endpoints they should not have access to. This affects all restricted paths protected by the RBAC authorization layer, including file upload, PHP server, htadmin, and authentication management interfaces. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107303 | 2026-10-08 | 7.6 High | ||
| JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. Prior to generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0, generated applications can persist attacker-controlled Blob data and companion ContentType values, return them through generated REST endpoints, and pass them to the generated openFile helper in generators/client/generators/common/templates/src/main/webapp/app/shared/jhipster/data-utils.ts.ejs. The helper uses the returned ContentType as the browser Blob MIME type and opens an object URL, so a normal authenticated user with write access to a Blob-bearing entity can store active HTML or SVG content that may execute under the application origin when a privileged user opens it. Exploitability depends on the generated application's content security policy and target-browser Blob behavior. This issue is fixed in generator-jhipster 9.4.0 and react-jhipster 1.1.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107336 | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| Malcolm's front nginx reverse proxy defines a "Dashboards → Arkime shortcut" location using a case-insensitive regex matcher but a case-sensitive rewrite. A request whose path segment is not exact-lowercase (for example /IDDASH2ARK/...) enters the location (the matcher fires) but evades the rewrite (no redirect is issued), so nginx falls through to the location's proxy_pass to the Arkime backend. That location is the one proxied location in the shipped config that does not include the per-location authentication file, so the request reaches Arkime unauthenticated. The same location also forwards a client-supplied X-Forwarded-User header un-overwritten, and Arkime is configured to trust X-Forwarded-User as the authenticated username — so an unauthenticated network caller can reach the Arkime backend while supplying a forged, auto-provisioned identity. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106290 | 1 Google | 2 Android, Chrome | 2026-10-08 | 4.7 Medium |
| Uninitialized resource in GPU in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-106296 | 2 Apple, Google | 2 Macos, Chrome | 2026-10-08 | 5.4 Medium |
| Improper privilege management in UI in Google Chrome on on Mac prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) | ||||
| CVE-2026-107228 | 2026-10-08 | 6.8 Medium | ||
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 3.0.14, the enabled-by-default cookie store replaces a Cookie header explicitly supplied through setHeader or addHeader whenever the store contributes any cookie for the origin. In a shared client, stored cookies originating from one user can replace a different user's request cookie, causing the request to execute under the wrong session. This bypasses the earlier CVE-2024-53990 remediation, which covered cookies supplied through addCookie but not a directly supplied header. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107222 | 1 Qax-os | 1 Excelize | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.7.0 to 2.11.0, conditional-format extraction indexes required child slices or dereferences an optional colorScale child without validating malformed rule structure. GetConditionalFormats reaches extractCondFmtCellIs and also indexes ColorScale.Cfvo, DataBar.Cfvo, and DataBar.Color without complete structural checks. When a crafted worksheet supplies a cellIs, dataBar, or colorScale rule missing expected children and the application calls GetConditionalFormats, missing formula, color, value-object, or colorScale data reaches an out-of-range index or nil dereference, allowing an attacker to panic and terminate an unprotected process. No fixed version is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107217 | 1 Qax-os | 1 Excelize | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 High |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.0.0 to 2.11.0 in github.com/xuri/excelize/v2 and from 1.1.0 to 1.4.1 in github.com/xuri/excelize, ColumnNameToNumber accumulates a bijective base-26 value in int64 without detecting overflow, allowing an invalid long column name to wrap to zero with no error. ColumnNameToNumber accepts the overflowing name VGWQHXLSDVIKWV, after which checkSheetR0 and xlsxWorksheet.checkRow use the wrapped column value as an index. When a crafted worksheet uses an overflowing column name in a row normalized by checkSheetR0 or checkRow, the wrapped zero column becomes a negative slice index during worksheet normalization, allowing an attacker to panic and terminate the calling process. No fixed version is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106408 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| Protection mechanism failure in Mobile in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
