CVE-2026-90384 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iomap: release the folio batch on iomap callback failures A sashiko review of an unrelated patch points out that the folio batch mechanism used for iomap zero range fails to release the batch in a couple error scenarios. If either calls to ->iomap_end() or ->iomap_begin() fail, the direct return paths bypass the batch cleanup. The ->iomap_end() case is not a practical issue at the moment because there is no user of the mechanism that returns an error from this path. The ->iomap_begin() case is theoretically possible because XFS can invoke the fill helper and error out at various points thereafter. This subtly complicates things because XFS does not transfer iomap_flags to the iomap data structure in the error path. To deal with both of these issues, first make sure to invoke the cleanup helper in the error path for either fs callback. Second, update the helper to clear the flag unconditionally and release the batch so long as it is populated. This more clearly delineates the purpose of the flag to control the I/O path and not necessarily the status of the fbatch, so add a comment around this as well.
CVE-2026-90396 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: fix dio leak on metadata mapping error A failed integrity mapping holds a dio reference, so we need to go through the full bio ending in case there were previously submitted bio's in the sequence.
CVE-2026-90318 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fat: release buffer head after rebuilding parent fat_scan_logstart() leaves the matching directory entry's buffer head in sinfo.bh for the caller to release, just like fat_scan(). fat_rebuild_parent() uses the directory entry to rebuild the parent inode for the nostale_ro NFS export path, but does not release sinfo.bh after a successful scan. Release it once fat_build_inode() has consumed the directory entry data.
CVE-2026-90346 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: nl80211: clean up color-change beacon data on errors nl80211_color_change() calls nl80211_parse_beacon() for the beacon_next template, which can allocate params.beacon_next.mbssid_ies and .rnr_ies. A parsing failure returned directly instead of using the out: cleanup, leaking any allocations completed before the error. Allocate the nested attribute table before parsing beacon_next. Its allocation failure can then return before beacon data exists, while a later parsing failure uses out: to release the parsed data.
CVE-2026-90125 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-19 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix request buffer leak in smb2_new_read_req() smb2_new_read_req() allocates the request buffer with smb2_plain_req_init() but only publishes it to the caller with *buf = req at the very end of the function. Two error returns sit in between: rc = smb2_plain_req_init(SMB2_READ, io_parms->tcon, server, (void **) &req, total_len); if (rc) return rc; if (server == NULL) return -ECONNABORTED; [...] rdata->mr = smbd_register_mr(server->smbd_conn, &rdata->subreq.io_iter, true, need_invalidate); if (!rdata->mr) return -EAGAIN; On either of them the buffer is neither released nor handed back, so it is leaked. The caller cannot clean up after it: smb2_async_readv() does 'goto out' on a non-zero return, which skips the cifs_small_buf_release(buf) at async_readv_out, and buf has not been assigned at that point in any case. The write path has never had this problem. smb2_async_writev() registers the memory region inline and jumps to its release label instead of returning: wdata->mr = smbd_register_mr(...); if (!wdata->mr) { rc = -EAGAIN; goto async_writev_out; } Commit b7972092199f ("cifs: smbd: Retry on memory registration failure") changed both sides from -ENOBUFS to -EAGAIN in a single patch, which puts the two shapes next to each other. Only the -EAGAIN return is reachable in practice, because smb2_plain_req_init() calls smb2_reconnect() first and that already fails with -EIO when server is NULL, before anything is allocated. Both returns are given the same treatment here rather than leaving one of them correct only by accident. Because -EAGAIN is a replayable error, the failure also reaches the retry block at the end of smb2_async_readv(), which marks the subrequest NETFS_SREQ_NEED_RETRY, so a failing registration can be retried rather than ending the I/O, and every attempt that reaches it leaks another buffer. smb2_should_replay() short-circuits on tcon->retry, so on a hard mount the attempt count is not bounded by the retrans setting. Only the asynchronous read path is affected. The synchronous SMB2_read() caller passes rdata == NULL and the memory registration block is guarded on rdata. The memory registration failure path was pointed out by the Sashiko AI reviewer while it was reviewing an unrelated patch to smb2_async_readv().
CVE-2026-54716 1 Valhalla 1 Valhalla 2026-09-19 7.5 High
Valhalla is an open source routing engine and accompanying libraries for use with OpenStreetMap data. In 3.7.0 and earlier, a POST request to /sources_to_targets containing an exclude_polygons ring formed by three collinear points can cause unbounded memory growth in the worker. The zero-area geometry, rather than the other request options, triggers processing in src/loki/polygon_search.cc until the process is terminated by the out-of-memory killer. A single unauthenticated request can therefore stop a public-facing worker. Other endpoints that accept exclude_polygons, including /route, were not verified as affected. No fixed version is available as of this review.
CVE-2026-77281 1 Caddyserver 1 Caddy 2026-09-18 6.5 Medium
Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. In version 2.11.3 and earlier, three configuration-dependent weaknesses affect the handler and placeholder layer. In modules/caddyhttp/rewrite/rewrite.go, Rewrite.Rewrite() can pass attacker-controlled replacement bytes through buildQueryString for a second placeholder expansion when a rewrite URI ends with a literal question mark, allowing injected environment or request-variable placeholders to disclose data and, when the file provider is registered, allowing injected file placeholders to disclose readable files. The issue is fixed in version 2.11.4.
CVE-2026-78501 1 Microsoft 1 365 Copilot Business Chat 2026-09-18 7.4 High
Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in Microsoft 365 Copilot's Business Chat allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
CVE-2026-90107 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: free pending qentry in smc_llc_flow_stop() before memset smc_llc_flow_stop() resets a flow struct with a blind memset: spin_lock_bh(&lgr->llc_flow_lock); memset(flow, 0, sizeof(*flow)); flow->type = SMC_LLC_FLOW_NONE; spin_unlock_bh(&lgr->llc_flow_lock); If flow->qentry is non-NULL at this point the pointer is overwritten without the allocation being freed, leaking one kmalloc object. A late-arriving duplicate CONFIRM_LINK or ADD_LINK_CONT message can set flow->qentry after the legitimate message has been consumed by the waiter via smc_llc_flow_qentry_clr() (which NULLs the pointer but leaves flow->type non-zero) but before the flow completes and smc_llc_flow_stop() runs. In that window the duplicate is stashed into flow->qentry, and then lost when smc_llc_flow_stop() zeros the struct. Call smc_llc_flow_qentry_del() inside the lock before the memset. smc_llc_flow_qentry_del() already checks flow->qentry before freeing, so the normal case where no entry is pending is a no-op.
CVE-2026-73454 1 Arista 1 Eos 2026-09-18 8.1 High
On affected platforms running Arista EOS with gRPC Network Security Interface (gNSI) Credentialz configured, a specially crafted request can cause unintended modifications to the target account's properties. This may result in the account being assigned elevated privileges or access beyond what an administrator intended.
CVE-2026-81176 1 Svelte 1 Devalue 2026-09-18 5.3 Medium
Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. Prior to 5.9.2, devalue.parse does not reject out-of-bounds indices that are greater than or equal to values.length in src/parse.js. A specially crafted untrusted payload can make the parser alternate between array representations, producing quadratic work as the payload grows and causing denial of service in applications that parse untrusted devalue data. This issue is fixed in version 5.9.2.
CVE-2026-82399 1 Coredns.io 1 Coredns 2026-09-18 7.5 High
CoreDNS is a DNS server written in Go. Prior to 1.14.7, the DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-HTTP/3, DNS-over-QUIC, and DNS-over-gRPC request paths in plugin/pkg/doh/doh.go, core/dnsserver/server_quic.go, and core/dnsserver/server_grpc.go call dns.Msg.Unpack on attacker-controlled DNS section counts before dns.DefaultMsgAcceptFunc validates the fixed header. An unauthenticated client can use DNS name compression and excessive section counts to amplify allocation before the plugin chain, so plugin-level rate limiting cannot prevent concurrent requests from exhausting memory and terminating CoreDNS. The ordinary UDP and TCP listeners are not affected because they validate the header first. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.7.
CVE-2026-83118 1 Oracle 1 Applications Dba 2026-09-18 7.8 High
Vulnerability in the Applications DBA product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: AD Utilities). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Applications DBA executes to compromise Applications DBA. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Applications DBA. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
CVE-2026-92230 1 Apache 1 Karaf 2026-09-18 7.5 High
Apache Karaf's XmlUtils cached XML parser/transformer factories in static ThreadLocal fields on long-lived container threads. Because a ThreadLocal value outlives the OSGi bundle that created it, repeated bundle or feature install, update, or refresh operations can leave successive bundle ClassLoader's pinned in memory and unreachable for garbage collection, leading to unbounded Metaspace growth and eventual denial of service of the Karaf instance.
CVE-2026-50275 1 Datadog 1 Dd-trace-php 2026-09-18 7.5 High
The Datadog PHP Tracer provides application performance monitoring and distributed tracing for PHP. Prior to 1.19.2, ddtrace_deserialize_baggage in ext/distributed_tracing_headers.c parses incoming W3C baggage HTTP headers without enforcing DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES. A remote unauthenticated client can send an arbitrarily large number of comma-separated key-value pairs or a single oversized value, causing the tracer to allocate hash-map entries and consume unbounded CPU and memory on each request. Baggage extraction is enabled by default in most affected deployments unless baggage is removed from DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE or DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE_EXTRACT. This issue is fixed in version 1.19.2.
CVE-2026-93310 1 O-ran-sc 1 Smo Oam 2026-09-18 5.3 Medium
A vulnerability was identified in O-RAN-SC SMO OAM 2025-06-10. This affects an unknown part of the component VES Collector. The manipulation leads to allocation of resources. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The project was informed of the problem early through a bug report but has not responded yet.
CVE-2026-92983 1 Internlm 1 Lmdeploy 2026-09-18 7.5 High
InternLM LMDeploy through 0.17.0 in DistServe prefill/decode disaggregation mode fails to release scheduler sessions because the proxy uses user-facing session IDs instead of internal scheduler keys. Unauthenticated attackers can send completion requests to the proxy endpoint that accumulate unreleased scheduler metadata and memory until the prefill worker is out-of-memory killed.
CVE-2026-54501 1 Webrecorder 1 Browsertrix 2026-09-18 N/A
Browsertrix is a high-fidelity, browser-based crawling service for web archiving that can be self-hosted or used through Webrecorder's hosted instance. From 1.15.0 until 1.22.8, Browsertrix improperly sanitizes Git URLs specified as Custom Behaviors, allowing command injection through /api/orgs/*/crawlconfigs/validate/custom-behavior. A user with crawler or administrator permission on the specific instance can supply a crafted Git URL that executes arbitrary operating-system commands in the backend pod. Open registration or hosted free-trial access can make the required role broadly obtainable. Successful exploitation can expose, modify, or delete application database records, archived items, browser profiles, storage data, proxy credentials, and other configured service data. This issue is fixed in version 1.22.8.
CVE-2026-75516 1 Rabbitmq 1 Java-client 2026-09-18 7.5 High
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.34.0, AMQConnection.start() applies Math.min(maxInboundMessageBodySize, frameMax) after Connection.Tune negotiation even though AMQP defines frameMax value zero as unlimited and ConnectionFactory.DEFAULT_FRAME_MAX is zero. When the client default and server-negotiated value are both zero, the result is passed to Utils.framePayloadLimit(int), which interprets zero as Integer.MAX_VALUE and disables the configured maxInboundMessageBodySize cap. A malicious AMQP server, or a man-in-the-middle attacker able to modify Connection.Tune and inject frames into the connection, can then send an oversized frame of any frame type, causing Frame.readFrom() to allocate a large byte array before content-level validation and potentially terminate the client process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 5.34.0.
CVE-2026-86200 1 Pmmp 1 Pocketmine-mp 2026-09-18 5.3 Medium
PocketMine-MP versions before 5.42.1 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the LoginPacket handler that allows remote attackers to flood warning messages by injecting numerous junk properties into the clientData JWT. Attackers can craft malicious login packets with excessive unknown properties to waste server CPU time and degrade performance.
