CVSS v3.1 |
| Use after free in Windows Win32 Kernel Subsystem allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Storage Port Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information with a physical attack. |
| Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft Windows Media Foundation allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Improper access control in Windows Host Guardian Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Use after free in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Media allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, plugins/star-rating/api/api.js allows a non-global application administrator to use uploadFeedbackFile to store attacker-controlled active content while trusting the supplied MIME type. plugins/star-rating/frontend/app.js publicly serves the stored content from feedback/preview/ with the attacker-influenced Content-Type, so a global administrator who opens the preview executes the payload in the Countly origin and exposes authenticated session capabilities, including auth_token and csrf_token values. This issue is fixed in versions 24.05.50 and 25.03.44. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Media Player allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, public image and screenshot routes implemented in frontend/express/app.js, plugins/star-rating/frontend/app.js, and plugins/dashboards/frontend/app.js concatenate attacker-controlled wildcard paths without containment validation. On deployments using the local filesystem backend, an unauthenticated request can traverse outside the intended asset directories and reach getStats or getStream in api/utils/countlyFs.js, allowing arbitrary readable server files to be disclosed. The affected routes include /appimages/*, /memberimages/*, */screenshots/*, /star-rating/images/*, and /dashboards/images/screenshots/*. This issue is fixed in versions 24.05.50 and 25.03.44. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3, the optional rabbitmq_jms_topic_exchange plugin's x-jms-topic exchange accepted a client-controlled rjms_erlang_selector binding expression whose LIKE evaluator expanded percent and underscore wildcards into overlapping PCRE fragments. It executed those fragments with raw re:run/3 without match or recursion limits, allowing an authenticated tenant that can bind and publish to consume broker scheduler CPU and deny service with pathological selectors. This issue is fixed in versions 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3. |
| Double free in Windows Hyper-V allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows BitLocker allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Storage Spaces Controller allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| Use after free in Windows Bluetooth Port Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over an adjacent network. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Graphics Kernel allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| NordVPN for Windows allows local attackers to stop unprotected Windows system services and change their startup type to Manual via named pipes. The NordVPN user-mode application allows a low-privileged attacker to act as a trusted process and connect to the named pipe "\\.\pipe\nord-security\v1\NordVpnService\Server". The attacker can then invoke the "ISettingsGrpc.StopService" and "ISettingsGrpc.ChangeServiceStartType" methods with an arbitrary service name, allowing them to stop any unprotected Windows service and change its startup type. This leads to denial of service of critical system services. Services protected by Windows (PPL processes, Windows Tamper Protection), such as Windows Defender, cannot be stopped or reconfigured.
This issue was fixed in version 8.12 |
| containerd is an open-source container runtime. From 2.1.0 until 2.2.7 and 2.3.4, containerd's CRI CreateContainer checkpoint restore is vulnerable because CRIU restores process security state from checkpoint data instead of enforcing the destination ContainerConfig. An attacker who can create a container from a crafted checkpoint can supply restored credentials, capabilities, no_new_privs, and seccomp state. The restored process can run as root with full capabilities and no enforced seccomp filters while CRI status reports the requested configuration. Systems that do not use CRI checkpoint restore are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.7 and 2.3.4. |
| Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.28, Markdown Preview Enhanced preview-link handling passes a decoded, Markdown-controlled link target to a Windows file-opening helper that invokes child_process.exec with the start command. When a Windows user opens an untrusted Markdown file and clicks a crafted external or unsupported-scheme link, shell metacharacters in the decoded target are interpreted by cmd.exe as command separators, allowing an attacker-selected command to run with the privileges of the current VS Code user. The attack requires one normal preview-link click but does not require malicious workspace configuration, script execution to be enabled, or additional files. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.28. |
| During an upload, curl mishandles HTTP/2 `RST_STREAM` received from the server
(with reason `HTTP_1_1_REQUIRED` or `REFUSED_STREAM`) leading to a use after
free of a `struct Curl_easy` object. |
