CVSS v3.1 |
| Double free in Windows Update Orchestrator Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Hyper-V allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Text Shaping allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Error Reporting allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in OpenSSH for Windows allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Photoshop Desktop is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Photoshop Desktop is affected by a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability that could result in an application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the application, leading to a denial-of-service condition. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |

| A Use-After-Free vulnerability has been discovered in GRUB's gettext module. This flaw stems from a programming error where the gettext command remains registered in memory after its module is unloaded. An attacker can exploit this condition by invoking the orphaned command, causing the application to access a memory location that is no longer valid. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause grub to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Possible data integrity or confidentiality compromise is not discarded. |
| Improper resolution of path equivalence in Windows SmartScreen allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. |
| Improper validation of the reset_url parameter of the Setup in-page search in Checkmk <2.5.0p15, <2.4.0p38, <2.3.0p51 and 2.2.0 (EOL) allows an attacker to execute arbitrary script in the session of an authenticated user with Setup access, or to redirect that user to an arbitrary external site, by tricking the user into opening a crafted URL and clicking the Reset button or submitting an empty search. |
| NordVPN for Windows allows local attackers to stop unprotected Windows system services and change their startup type to Manual via named pipes. The NordVPN user-mode application allows a low-privileged attacker to act as a trusted process and connect to the named pipe "\\.\pipe\nord-security\v1\NordVpnService\Server". The attacker can then invoke the "ISettingsGrpc.StopService" and "ISettingsGrpc.ChangeServiceStartType" methods with an arbitrary service name, allowing them to stop any unprotected Windows service and change its startup type. This leads to denial of service of critical system services. Services protected by Windows (PPL processes, Windows Tamper Protection), such as Windows Defender, cannot be stopped or reconfigured.
This issue was fixed in version 8.12 |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
power: sequencing: fix NULL-pointer dereference in pwrseq_unit_new()
If memory allocation fails in pwrseq_unit_setup_deps(), pwrseq_unit_put()
is called to release the partially initialized unit. However, we've
never initialized unit->list and pwrseq_unit_release() will
unconditionally call list_del() on it. Initialize unit->list right after
allocating the unit struct. |
