CVSS v3.1 |
| Speakr is a personal, self-hosted web application designed for transcribing audio recordings. Prior to 0.8.21-alpha, the csrf_exempt_for_api_tokens() before_request hook in src/app.py calls csrf.exempt(view_func), permanently adding the selected view to Flask-WTF's process-global exemption set. The is_token_authenticated() function in src/utils/token_auth.py calls extract_token_from_request() and treats any present token, including request.args.get('token'), as authenticated without hashing the token, querying the database, or checking validity. A network-reachable attacker can therefore send a false token to disable CSRF protection for the targeted view for the worker lifetime. Because the exemption applies to the view function across HTTP methods, a cross-origin GET to /account with a query token can poison CSRF state for a later state-changing POST without triggering CORS preflight. This browser sequence requires attacker-controlled content on a sibling subdomain under the documented cookie conditions. The bypass can modify profile data, custom prompts, transcription settings, preferences, and administrative status through routes such as admin_toggle_admin. The change_password route also skips current-password verification when current_user.password is empty, allowing the chain to set a local password on an SSO-only account and bypass SSO. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.21-alpha. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management product of Oracle Hyperion (component: Security). The supported version that is affected is 11.2.26.0.000. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Hyperion Financial Management accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Hyperion Financial Management accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| A vulnerability in the implementation of the TACACS+ protocol in Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to view sensitive data or bypass authentication.
This vulnerability exists because the system does not properly check whether the required TACACS+ shared secret is configured. A machine-in-the-middle attacker could exploit this vulnerability by intercepting and reading unencrypted TACACS+ messages or impersonating the TACACS+ server and falsely accepting arbitrary authentication requests. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to view sensitive information in a TACACS+ message or bypass authentication and gain access to the affected device. |
| Vendure is an open-source headless commerce platform. Prior to 3.7.0, ExternalAuthenticationService.createCustomerAndUser in packages/core/src/service/helpers/external-authentication/external-authentication.service.ts selects an existing customer user by emailAddress and attaches a newly presented ExternalAuthenticationMethod without requiring verified to be true. In deployments with a custom external AuthenticationStrategy that forwards an email whose ownership the provider has not verified, an attacker can authenticate with a victim's email and bind the attacker's external identity to the victim's existing account. This can expose orders, addresses, and personal information and permit account changes or orders as the victim. Native-only email and password deployments and external strategies that always require provider-verified email ownership are unaffected, and new-account creation for an unused email remains permitted. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.0. |
| AVideo LoginControl contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the PGP second factor verification that compares challenge responses using loose equality against an uninitialized session variable. Attackers with a victim's password can bypass the second factor by sending a parameter-less GET request to verifyChallenge.json.php, which evaluates null == null and marks authentication complete. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker holding a sign-in token for one authenticated resource to be signed in as a user of a different resource.
AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.SignInWithTokenPreparation.extract_primary_keys_from_subject/2 parses the JWT sub claim (for example user?id=1) with URI.parse/1 and keeps only its query string, discarding the path segment that names the subject the token was issued for. Nothing else restores that binding: AshAuthentication.Jwt.verify/3 checks the signature, exp, nbf, jti and the library-version claims, the purpose check only requires sign_in, and the remaining comparison is over primary-key field names, which are identical across resources. The WebAuthn sign-in and remember-me preparations carry copies of the same helper and drop the path in the same way. The magic link sign-in path pins the subject name against the resource and is not affected.
This issue affects ash_authentication: from 3.10.5 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14. |
| Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.115, AuthInjectionMiddleware in meta_ads_mcp/core/http_auth_integration.py rejects HTTP MCP requests only when both auth_token and pipeboard_token are absent, while extract_token_from_headers() does not recognize X-Pipeboard-Token as a primary credential. A network caller using the streamable-http transport can therefore send any X-Pipeboard-Token value, pass the guard without establishing authentication context, and cause get_auth_token() to fall back to the server operator's META_ACCESS_TOKEN. Subsequent MCP tools execute with the operator's Meta credentials and can read or modify the operator's Meta Ads data. Deployments using the default stdio transport or without META_ACCESS_TOKEN are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.115. |
| motionEye (mEye) is an online interface for a piece of software called "motion," which is a video surveillance program with motion detection. Prior to 0.44.0, motionEye accepts the client-controlled meye_username and meye_password_hash cookies as authentication material without server-side session validation. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a target username and corresponding hash can set the cookies manually or cause them to be loaded by submitting blank credentials through the switch-user authentication flow, after which the server authenticates the attacker as that user. The administrator username and password-hash value are stored in /etc/motioneye/motion.conf, which is globally readable by default, allowing a local shell user to obtain reusable administrator credential material. Successful impersonation can enable account lockout, password changes and persistence, data enumeration, data destruction, and data exfiltration. This issue is fixed in version 0.44.0. |
| WWBN AVideo through 29.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability where the stored password hash is accepted as a valid login credential through two independent code paths in loginFromRequest() and encryptPasswordVerify(). Attackers who obtain the stored users.password hash value can authenticate as any user by submitting the hash directly to login endpoints, completely bypassing password verification. |
| Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.1, the private_key_jwt client authentication path uses ClientJwksResolverCache without reliably binding a cached jwks_uri resolver and verified assertion to the expected clientID in ClientCredentialsReader. An attacker controlling any registered client with published keys, including one obtained through open dynamic registration when enabled, can authenticate as another client whose keys are exposed through jwks_uri and mint tokens in that client's name across realms in the same OpenAM process. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.1. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an account that is not theirs.
AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.UserResolver.resolve/3 matches an existing account using the register action's upsert_identity keys, then gates linking the incoming provider identity to it on email_trusted?/2, which reads only the provider's email_verified boolean and never compares the provider's email value with the matched account's email. That gate assumes the account was matched by its email field, so under any other upsert_identity it is vacuous and an attacker presenting their own verified email is attached to, and issued a session for, an account matched on some other attribute. The same unguarded gate applies in OAuth2.SignInPreparation on the registration_enabled? false path, where the account is matched by the sign-in action's read filter instead. The upsert also rewrites the matched account's email to the attacker's address, so later account recovery reaches the attacker rather than the owner.
This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.14.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.10 before 5.0.0-rc.14. |
| The Login with QR WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not verify that the code used to log a user in is one it issued, matching any stored user metadata value instead, which allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators. |
| The Pressengine WordPress plugin through 1.0 does not stop its login handler from issuing a session when authentication fails, allowing unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators. |
| The Private Feed Key WordPress plugin through 0.1 does not verify that the key used to authenticate a feed request is one it issued, matching any stored user metadata value instead, which allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Platform Security for Java product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Centralized Thirdparty Jars). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via SOAP to compromise Oracle Platform Security for Java. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Platform Security for Java. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: Core). The supported version that is affected is 3.6.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in OmniPEMF NeoRhythm up to 20260308. This affects an unknown function of the component BLE Interface. Such manipulation leads to missing authentication. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. This attack is characterized by high complexity. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 3.6.11 until 3.6.25 and 3.7.10, Traefik's BasicAuth middleware in pkg/middlewares/auth/basic_auth.go deduplicates concurrent password checks with a singleflight key built from the delimiter-free concatenation of password and secret, allowing an attacker who has a valid credential and the stored hash to authenticate as an unconfigured username when headerField trusts the forwarded identity. This issue is fixed in 3.6.25 and 3.7.10. |
| Traefik versions before v2.11.55 and versions v3.0.0 through v3.7.10 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in the digestAuth middleware where unknown usernames receive an empty secret instead of rejection. Attackers can compute a valid digest response using the empty secret and arbitrary credentials to bypass authentication on any digestAuth-protected route without a valid username or password. |
| Traefik versions >= v3.7.0 and <= v3.7.10 contain an authentication bypass in the Kubernetes Ingress NGINX provider. The TLS option generated for an Ingress carrying the nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/auth-tls-secret annotation was named after the Ingress namespace and name. As a result, two Ingress objects sharing the same host, the same client CA secret, and the same client-authentication mode produced two distinct TLS option names for that host. Traefik treats this as a TLS options conflict and falls back to the entry point's default TLS configuration, which does not request a client certificate, so a route configured with nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/auth-tls-verify-client: "on" becomes reachable without a client certificate. Only the v3.7 line is affected; the issue is fixed in v3.7.11. |
