CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in Cisco ISE and ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of an affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain user-level access to the underlying operating system and then elevate privileges to root. In single-node deployments, successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause the affected ISE node to become unavailable, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. In that condition, endpoints that have not already authenticated would be unable to access the network until the node is restored. |
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Azure Arc allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| RouterOS WebFig contains an unauthenticated file-read vulnerability in the /jsproxy path where a newly allocated session retains a stale uninitialized principal pointer used for file authorization. An unauthenticated attacker can prepare the allocator so that the file-serving path dereferences this pointer with sufficient rights, then supply parent-directory components in an encrypted URI to escape the WebFig file namespace and disclose root-owned files, including configuration stores containing credentials. This issue affects only 7.x branch was fixed in versions: 7.23.4 (Long-term) and 7.24.2 (Stable) |
| The SSL Zen — SSL Certificate Installer & HTTPS Redirects plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.42 via the 'file_name' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| The Botslab G980H dash camera firmware contains a path traversal vulnerability in its HTTP server. An attacker with access to the device's WiFi network could submit a crafted request to access files within the device's removable storage that were not intended to be directly accessible through the web server. Exposed files could include recordings, images, diagnostic logs, or firmware files. |
| The Link Library WordPress plugin before 7.9.6 does not sanitize a user-supplied destination folder before writing a generated image to disk, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to create directories and write or overwrite image files anywhere the web server can write, including outside the site's document root.
The written file name is always numeric with a fixed image extension, so executable code cannot be planted this way. |
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Windows Compressed Folder allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A vulnerability in the API endpoint of HPE Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator could allow a low-privilege authenticated remote attacker to escalate privileges. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable the attacker to execute arbitrary system commands with root privileges on the underlying operating system. |
| Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. Prior to 0.80.1, authenticated users can store attacker-controlled avatarUrl values that are later reused by avatar cleanup without confinement to the intended directory on local-storage deployments. A low-privileged user can cause deletion of arbitrary local files or directories reachable by the Docmost service account. This issue is fixed in version 0.80.1. |
| Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. Prior to 0.80.1, the public avatar and logo image endpoint accepts attacker-controlled fileName path segments and resolves them against local storage without confinement to the intended image directory. An unauthenticated attacker can traverse outside the avatar or logo directory and read local storage objects whose final basename satisfies the route's UUID check. This issue is fixed in version 0.80.1. |
| IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands due to path traversal. |
| draw.io is a configurable diagramming and whiteboarding application. Prior to version 30.2.7, src/main/java/com/mxgraph/online/ExportProxyServlet.java uses request.getPathInfo() to build a proxyPath and appends it directly to EXPORT_URL without rejecting dot segments or confirming that the normalized destination remains under the configured export path. An unauthenticated request containing traversal segments can therefore address unintended routes on the internal export server, and the servlet forwards all request headers and the request body to that destination, allowing arbitrary header injection. Depending on the export service configuration, exploitation can expose administration, debugging, health, or configuration endpoints and can permit unintended internal actions. This issue is fixed in version 30.2.7. |
| KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge. From 1.16.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, the DecompressTarGz function in keadm/cmd/keadm/app/cmd/util/common.go joins archive entry names to the extraction destination without sufficient validation. During keadm join or installation on Windows edge nodes, an archive influenced through a compromised, replaced, or untrusted download source can contain parent-directory components, Windows-style backslashes, absolute paths, or drive-prefixed paths that escape the intended directory. The affected keadm process can consequently write or overwrite files with its own privileges, potentially modifying configuration, executable, or service files and enabling persistent system modification or code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1. |
| A malicious actor with access to the network could exploit a Path Traversal vulnerability found in UniFi OS devices to access files on the underlying system that could be manipulated to access an underlying account. |
| CyberPanel 1.9.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the readFileContents method of the /filemanager/controller endpoint. An authenticated remote attacker with ownership of any configured domain can supply an arbitrary absolute or out-of-scope path in the fileName JSON property. Because authorization validates only domainName and does not canonicalize or restrict fileName to that domain's home directory, the application returns the contents of files readable by the CyberPanel execution identity. |
| Many Notes is a Markdown note-taking web application designed for simplicity. Prior to 0.16.0, the ZIP vault import implemented in app/Actions/ProcessImportedVault.php accepts archive filenames containing parent-directory traversal segments. An authenticated user can write arbitrary files outside the importing user's vault and into other users' vaults, including overwriting existing files. Disguised SVG content can be placed in another user's vault and execute stored cross-site scripting when the victim opens that vault. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.0. |
| CyberPanel v1.9.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the compress method exposed through the /filemanager/controller endpoint. An authenticated remote attacker with ownership of any configured domain can supply absolute or otherwise out-of-scope file paths in the listOfFiles JSON property, together with attacker-controlled basePath and compressedFileName values, in a method=compress request. Because the application validates only domain ownership and does not canonicalize or restrict these paths to the authorized site directory, the backend appends them to zip or tar archive commands and executes them as the website externalApp user, allowing disclosure of arbitrary readable files through the generated archive. |
| Relative Path Traversal vulnerability in Erlang OTP (stdlib zip module) allows writing files outside the intended extraction directory via a crafted zip archive.
zip:unzip/1,2 and zip:extract/1,2 validate entry paths using zip:check_dir_level/2, which tracks directory depth as a running integer counter: .. decrements it, normal path components increment it. The caller rejects only paths where the final counter value is less than zero. A path such as ../x/y causes the counter to go negative mid-traversal then recover to zero, passing validation while resolving to a location outside the extraction directory when joined with the current working directory via add_cwd.
This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/stdlib/src/zip.erl.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 27.1 before OTP 27.3.4.15, OTP 28.5.0.4, and OTP 29.0.4, corresponding to stdlib from 6.1 before 6.2.2.4, 7.3.0.1, and 8.0.3. |
| A vulnerability was determined in YunaiV/zhijiantianya ruoyi-vue-pro up to 2026.08. This impacts the function getOriginalFilename of the file yudao-module-mp/src/main/java/cn/iocoder/yudao/module/mp/service/material/MpMaterialServiceImpl.java of the component File Upload. Executing a manipulation can lead to path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
